As far as I'm aware, the silver package comes with seats on the same level, but they don't seem to be as centered. For example, I saw some silver tickets with sections that were the same distance from the ring, but in the corners and behind the announce table.

The only reason I'd get a travel package would be to save the stress of buying tickets from Ticketmaster.

Totally agree with you, the seats were almost perfect, only could have been bettered if they were literally ringside. I was worried about the view too, so when I found my row and saw the view I was absolutely stoked.

Re: UK Fans Going to WrestleMania 30

I'm going seperate this year. New Orleans seems like a great place so will be staying 10+ days.

I'll probably only want WrestleMania and RAW tickets so it shouldn't be that hard. Along with a load of indy wrestling.

Have you gone with a package in the past?

Re: UK Fans Going to WrestleMania 30

For next year i'll be doing the travel package, booking everything separately was so much hassle, at least all i'll need to worry about is booking flights

This is because New York is an extremely large city and as such, many airlines have hubs, or "gathering points" for their aircraft there to fly people into and out of a highly traveled location. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Yep, went to 28 with the package.

It saves you the hassle but if you're going for more than 4 nights and/or don't want to go to Hall of Fame/Axxess (good for about an hour) then it seems pointless shedding out the money. You're guaranteed tickets, yes, but you're almost guaranteed a WrestleMania ticket considering they never sell out and it's easy to get a RAW ticket, stubhub.com and the like.

The one thing that the package offers is peace of mind that everything is booked for you. Doesn't do it for me. It's my main holiday so I'll be spending 10 days ish there so finding 2 alternate accommodations costs more. I'm booking a vacation rental with 4/5 friends works out about as much as 2 nights in a hotel. You do the math.

There's positives/negatives to both sides.

I was planning to go to Mania this year but was unable to do to reasons outside my control. Im considering going next year but I will be going alone, the only thing putting me off is stories of New Orleans not being the safest.

Re: UK Fans Going to WrestleMania 30

french quarter in new orleans is quite safe and very very touristy, the stadium is just a few blocks from here e.g http://www.earthcam.com/usa/louisian...bourbonstreet/

the big appeal of new orleans will be that everything is within walking distance if you hotel is in the french quarter
