So Wrestlemania 29 has ended which means the road to the big anniversary Wrestlemania XXX begins!!

It may seem early creating this thread but packages will be on sale around 12 weeks time, a lot of people will be planning their trip like myself.

Who's planning on going? looking to buy the packages or buy everything separate? What should we expect and get up too in New Orleans?

I went to WM28 on the silver packages which were great, unfortunately couldn't attend WM29 but 30 is a must for me.

there is another side of things to consider also, and that is that a large percentage of the hotels guest are there on the package, there will be no shortage of fellow fans around to share a taxi with, ect ect.

You have to pay upfront when you order the package. Like others have mention, the package is more expensive than booking everything yourself but at least you have the convenience of securing your tickets to all the big events - Mania, HOF, Axxess, Raw (if you choose), and the hotel. It is the only option I've taken in my four trips to Mania but I believe the next time I go I'm going to try to book everything myself to save a couple dollars.
I'll probably just get tickets to WM and the Raw the following night, maybe Axxess too depending on the cost. Not overly interested in the HoF as it's been average the last few years but we will probably be staying in hostels anyway so it might be more cost effective to do it that way.

Thanks everyone for the assistance. I'll keep you posted.

Be sure to check back on Monday, Aug. 12, for details on all the packages and your first opportunity to save your place at The Showcase of the Immortals!
I don't remember having to wait til the day it came out to find out price details when I got the WM 28 package.

The information will find it's way out before the day of purchase, right? Isn't there some email account to get the most information out there? My memory is shit.

As I stated in the other thread, do your homework before booking a travel package. If you already booked a hotel, it's probably to your disadvantage to get a package. If you haven't, numbed crunch and see how much would you be spending vs. going on your own.

Driving from Houston, I think we'll be buying tickets separately. We booked a motel 7 miles from the stadium about a month ago, spent about $200 for 3 days. Just going to axxess and WM. would anyone happen to know when single tickets will go on sale? Or when they usually do, haven't been to a WM since 17 in Houston.

I gotta go to WrestleMania this year, it's fucking awesome and it's always been awesome. You can't just go to WrestleMania, though, you have to go to as many of the surrounding events as possible to really enjoy it.

I'm not always the happiest person, but the weekend of WrestleMania, specifically WM 28, put me in a state of bliss that felt perpetual.

Don't wanna sound dramatic, though, I'm sure there's a lot of cunts that end up disliking their experience because their shit state of mind.

So pissed its that the packages are so expensive. Its no problem for me since i have saved up the money for it but my friends are the ones who worry me i might have to put down for them. I would say no and skip WM 30 but since its the 30th anniversary I dont want to miss it. Plus its New Orleans

I think I'm gonna have to go with the silver package, just from a price perspective. I've actually only gone silver before, never gone with a gold package.

What are the seats like for those of you that have gone gold? Silver package seats for WM 28 turned out pretty great, actually, I had a great view.

Only way I'll be attending this one is if I do an overnight just to catch the main show. But then again I did the whole four-day shebang this past April in NJ, and that was more than enough for me. Don't need to meet any superstars or anything, as Axxess is kinda boring honestly. Should be cheap enough, though I'm still looking at a cool G here. Damn, better start saving.

I booked a holiday to Europe last year through a travel agent fairly easily and I'm from Australia. Looooong flight. I was going to grab a package but since I'd be going on my own that'd be massively expensive, so I'll probably just book it myself through an agent. Good or bad idea?
