Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times

A note to WWE booking team.

Kicking out of a guys finisher 100 times dosent make a great match.

Back in the day kicking out of a finisher was like "WTF is going on?"

Now it happends every match 100 times and 100 attempts to do it.

People didnt barely care in Rock vs Cena when they saw it 100 times.

WWE booking team killed wrestling.

WWE pg for kids is not worth more of our time.

TNA wrestling is by far the greater product now and fucking awesome.

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

Yeh I agree with you. They overuse the shit, and they also start way to early in the match with it so you know that he will kick out from it.
Wait until the end of the match where the feeling the match is soon goin to end, then put 1-2 finisher kick outs per guy or so.

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

Agreed. I dont mind it at times if the match is telling an effective story. It works well in Taker matches the last several WM's. It worked in one of my favorite matches of all-time (Austin-Rock WM 17) but it sure as hell didnt work last night in Cena-Rock. In general, kicking out of finishers is well overused.

Anybody but Cena!!

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

It has become a disturbing trend in big WWE matches since Taker/HBK had so much success with it at Mania 25.

It really kills the shock of a false finish when the WWE main event style has evolved into guys spamming their finishers in the second half of matches.

Chris Jericho called me a bulbous manatee and I liked it

Wrestlemania 23 and 6/22/2009's RAW show that Donald Trump is wrestling's biggest draw

The Zig Zag is worth nothing

What if WCW won the Monday Night Wars?

Here's what I think would have happened: http://inthesquaredcircle.blogspot.c...ight-wars.html

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

I wouldnt say its a WWE problem, more of a wrestling problem. Everyone seems to be doing it.

I dont mind when they do it for BIG TIME matches. But these days they are doing it for tv matches and upper midcard matches. Its just not worthy of it.

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

I thought anything they did could top their WM28 match but clearly not. This did not become the classic match that they were hoping it would be. It will be remembered negatively.

Batista / Trish Stratus / Chris Jericho / CM Punk / Kurt Angle / Alberto Del Rio
Seth Rollins / Randy Orton / Ryback / Luke Harper / Fandango
Cesaro / Bad News Barrett / Dolph Ziggler / Christian / Curtis Axel
Finn Bálor / The Vaudevillians / Tyler Breeze / Sami Zayn / Tye Dillinger
Alicia Fox / Natalya / Summer Rae / Sasha Banks / Rosa Mendes / Eva Marie
Was At Wrestlemania 25, 26, 27, 28 & 30!!!

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

100% agree. It's past the point of ridiculousness. It's like that's all the bookers/wrestlers think makes a high drama match. I thought the worst was Punk kicking out of the tombstone last night - the spot where he hit GTS, Taker bounced off the ropes and snatched him up for a quick Tombstone.

Re: Kicking out of guys finisher 100 times ...

If it is done the way Punk did it last night, then it works. The finish came fast and people were like "No, it cannot end this way...not yet!" and BOOM, kick out. However...if it is done like Rock vs Cena II...then no. I felt like I was watching a WWE '13 match and both players had infinite F icons.

"WWE and Vince McMahon know what the fans want. They will give us what we want. Whether we know it or not. We want what they give us.

You can either be a WWE Audience member and be silent about how happy you are that they give you what you want, or a WWE Critic who voices his criticisms...just remember that Vince only listens to the audience."
