I've posted in other threads about but now have decided to make a thread about it, could Rock be the one turning heel at Mania?

Everyone has been talking about Cena possibly turning heel basing it off the things he has said or done lately. Also, people think that because Rock has two more movies coming out, he has to stay face. I think the opposite.

Cena is already a heel to many and with the WWE having a lack of faces, especially once Taker and Rock leave, I believe Cena has to stay face especially with Punk rumored to be taking a hiatus after Mania. Even though Rock has two more movies coming out, he is not the main star in either of them and those movies will not rely on Rock's star power alone. Because of this, I could see Rock becoming heel Hollywood Rock until he leaves in a month.

Maybe I'm wishing he turns but either way, your thoughts?

I don't think he will... I think even Cena won't turn heel... I just hope if Cena isn't turning Rock beats him clean...

Two things.

1. Rock is far too big of a star to be heel or face, he surpassed both. He's just the rock.

2. His movies coming out wont care whether he's a face or a heel in wwe. His movies are not tied to wwe like the wwe studios are.
It's like saying he can't play a good guy because he has a movie where he is the bad guy coming out. It's acting.

No one is turning heel. Cena wins clean so they can have a rubber match at next year's Mania where one of them finally turns. Probably Dwayne.

I don't think it is possible for Rock to turn heel because no matter what, fans will be cheering rock over cena. This is going to be interesting. Cena is going to win. I have a feeling though he will be getting boo'd the whole freaking match, and HOPEFULLY when he wins, the crowd will really turn on him and FORCE a heel turn. The crowd in DC was big time against Cena. People say it was just a smarky crowd but I think it is more that people are choosing sides, and not very many will take Cena over the ROck. I'm hoping the crowd is electric for this match sort of like Hogan Vs ROck. This time The ROck being Hogan and getting the huge crowd reaction, and Cena being the Rock and getting boo'd on every move.
