Re: Extreme Rules Card predictions
Partly what I expect, partly what I would like.
WWE Championship - Extreme Rules
John Cena vs Ryback
(No contest after Mark Henry wipes them both out, setting up a three-way for Payback.)
World Championship - Singles
Dolph Ziggler w/AJ & Big E vs Daniel Bryan w/ Kane
(Capitalising on the current heat with the four of them they should get the ADR rematch out of the way on Raw and have a multi-man number 1 contender match (possibly Bryan vs Kane vs ADR vs Swagger). It would be a great match with the opportunity for lots of interference.)
Sheamus vs Big Show vs Randy Orton
(Orton wins plus heel turn to move onto the Sheamus/Orton feud they seem to be heading towards.)
Kassius Ohno vs Kane
(Ok, this is unlikely but what I hope for. Since Punk's being rested and reports say they're looking to bring up a few guys I'd have Punk introduce Ohno as his "hand selected next face of the company" or something. Punk's mic skills will be able to get him over fast. Then at ER Punk can complain to Vickie that his guy hasn't got a match. This is where Kane can show up saying since Bryan already has a match he'd like one two. Since he's not competing Punk can do guest commentary for the match, putting Ohno over, also interfere to get him the win.)
Fandango vs Brodus Clay
(They'll make the most of Fandango's popularity by giving him another PPV win. Somekind of dance based rivalry with Brodus or Tensai seems likely.)
Intercontinental Championship - Submission, Ladder or Tables
Wade Barrett vs The Miz
(A gimmick match to continue the feud.)
United States Championship - Singles
Antonio Cesaro vs Alberto Del Rio
It's too early to make any meaningful guesses how The Shield and Brock will be involved.
