WrestleMania 29 Axxess
I thought it would be convenient to have a dedicated thread for those of us with questions or concerns about planning or any new info about Axxess this year, since the general WrestleMania planning thread can be all over the place sometimes.
Anyway, WWE recenly released an information page about the new Axxess layout, which notes that events will be taking place not only on the floor, but also around the whole arena concourse and seating areas.
Here's what they said
Quote:
WrestleMania Axxess is sure to be an experience like none other. Below are some tips to help make it the most enjoyable experience possible for members of the WWE Universe who will be in attendance!
Wear comfortable walking shoes and leave strollers at home as there is no stroller check. This year, WrestleMania Axxess is in an arena, which means a unique experience throughout the concourse, the arena floor and even the seats!
If you don’t want to carry around coats or jackets, make sure to leave them in the car or at home, because there is not a coat check available.
Bring a personal camera or camera phone. Though we will provide photographers at certain designated photo stations, you will want to take snapshots at areas beyond the photo stations.
Autograph mats will be available for the Superstars to sign at the autograph stations, but if you want to bring a family-friendly item of your own, you can! But please remember that Superstars at autograph stations can only sign one item and cannot take posed photos.
If you are driving to the event, the closest parking lot to the entrance is Lot 23, which is directly across from the IZOD Center box office and located between Gates A and D.
If you are being dropped off and picked up, that can take place between Lots 27 and 28.
If you arrive early, the lines to wait are outside, so be sure to plan for the weather.
If you have purchased a VIP ticket, look for the VIP line near the entrance to the building. This will ensure you get your VIP wristband upon entry, which will tell you when to line up for your VIP experience. Remember, if you don’t arrive at your designated time at the lower-level Expo Hall (the starting point for the VIP experience), we unfortunately can’t guarantee your VIP experience.
Bring everything you need with you as you enter the building, as re-entry is not permitted.
Maps will be available at the information desk in the box-office lobby, or you can explore what is around every corner on your own.
Accommodations for the autograph stations located in the seats will be indicated on the map.
If you are unable to climb stairs or take escalators, there is an elevator in the box-office lobby that will take you up to the concourse and down to the arena floor.
If you have tickets for multiple sessions in one day, we appreciate your cooperation with leaving the building at the end of each session, as our staff needs time to clean and reset all of the activities. The sooner everyone exits, the sooner we can reopen the doors!

Kind of bummed that there won't be any posed photographs with the wrestlers on a personal camera this year. In previous years, I had managed to get posed photos with quite a few of the guys without having to wait to get home and go online to get the official photographers' photos. Maybe they might loosen up at the time of the event.
What sessions are you guys going to?
I'm not locking myself into one until they release the Superstars list for each session, but I'm most likely going for the Sunday morning sessions. It really completes the WrestleMania experience to be able to make a whole day of it, and get really hyped the day of WrestleMania and get mentally prepared for the event. Get up nice and early, head off to the arena for 8:00AM, enjoy the event until 12:30PM, then head out to Metlife Stadium in time for some tailgating and banter with the fans!
Let's chat - how are you all feeling about Axxess this year?

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
I've always wanted to attend WM, especially this year since it's so close but unfortunately I won't be able to attend WM itself due to the timing and financial reasons (and I might also end up working at my new job that night too!) but I was looking into possibly attending an AXXESS event even if it meant shelling out to buy a scalped ticket...but now I'm not so sure. They definitely gotta get their shit together and release the superstar appearance schedule (shouldn't that have been done ages ago!?!?!) so I can make my decision.
I could give two shits about an autograph. Why should I care about a signature?!? Might sound weird but that's just me. I like having a posed photo taken with the superstar/diva of my choice. I care about the interaction I have with them (albeit short but that's besides the point), I like to look at the picture and relive that moment...that's what I'm taking home with me. Don't care for autographs! I want pictures! Besides there's probably gonna be a shit load of people around to even enjoy it.
Well anyway, hope you have a good time...I'm jealous.

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
I went to Axxess last year and it was pretty lame. I mean, if I was a kid I would have enjoyed it more. The lines for the super stars were way too long and my session had nobody interesting, when earlier in the day I got a Daniel Bryan and Kane signing for freaking free at their store in Sun Life Stadium versus paying $60+ for jobbers and a jungle gym. Other than the memorabilia, it was a gigantic waste of time and gas. If you have a VIP session, I guess it's worth it, but meh.
Don't think I'm going to it when I go to 30. I'll prob. put that money towards more merch or an ROH or TNA show. Or better yet, alcohol lmao

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
i went to axxess for the first time last year and i had a blast, to be able to meet paul bearer (undertaker grave yard wont be the same this year), ricky steamboat, jim duggan, howard finkel, khali, alex riley, alicia fox, wade barrett, jtg etc.
the live matches were awesome, as dolph ziggler vs. santino marella went all thru the axxess floor ,running right passed me several times was hilarious.
axxess is a greta experience and they always add new stuffnevery year.
this year im going friday night and saturday afternoon.

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
Actually I have 2 tickets with my travel package for Thursday & Friday nights.
Last year I only went for one night because I couldn't justify going again the next day despite having a ticket, I am not interested on getting autographs and I am fine with getting some pictures for the superstars from a distance.
BTW For all the experts out there, is it worth to waste 2 night on the axxess if I have a free ticket? Because I am thinking about going only for 1 night and spending the other day in NYC.

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
I'm going to the Sunday 12:30 session. This will be my first (and probably only) WrestleMania and Axxess so I'm very much looking forward to it. I just thought they would've released some kind of superstar listing for it by now, right?! Eh, doesn't matter to me really, but I'd like to know who's going to be there so I could plan ahead.

Re: WrestelaMania 29 Axxess
I went to axxess in 2011 and it was great, but i went to axxess last year and it sucked because it was the same crap. Basicly if its your first time you will have fun but the 2nd time no
