Well who would you guys see as a "worthy" opponent? Cena? lolOrton? Pretty much everyone that doesn't hate Punk agrees that he is the ideal opponent for Austin.

To be honest, I have no interest in seeing this match. Not because I hate both guys but because it does nothing for me. It doesn't have a big-match feel to it at all. My opinion of course.

I'd rather see Austin wrestle the following a million times before he and Punk are even mentioned in the same sentence.
- Brock Lesnar
- John Cena
- Randy Orton
- THE ROCK
- Undertaker
And why are so many drooling over a potential segment and the whole "beer drinking redneck" vs straight edge thing? So what's their segment gonna produce? "YOU DRINK BEER AFTER STUNNING EVERYONE AND I'M STRAIGHT EDGE WHICH MEANS I DON'T DRINK, SMOKE OR DO DRUGS!!! FOR THAT, I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS, STEVEN!", that or?

Re: CM Punk Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin at WM 30?
The storyline and promo's between the two would be fun and interesting. It would be cool to see Austin work another match again.
But, Austin hasn't wrestled for over a decade. It'll be worse than Rock/Punk at the RR this year. Much worse. The match between the two would be a huge letdown in my opinion.
If they want to have Austin involved, they'll probably have to do a tag match or a multi man match so Austin doesn't have to work a 20 minute match. I can see Austin working a one-on-one match again. Especially at his age. Sure, many people probably said the same thing for Bret, but his match HAD to happen, and it would have happened whether Bret returned in '05, or 2010. They had to put an end to the Bret/Vince rivalry. Austin/Punk however don't have nearly enough reason to fight other than one's straight-edge, and one drinks bear.

Unnecessary flips and choreographed spots does not equal good wrestling. Just because you can work a 25 minute match in front of 1,500 people does not means your a good wrestler.

Re: CM Punk Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin at WM 30?
No. If Stone Cold comes back (which he shouldn't do; Wrestlemania XiX was the best ending he will ever get), then he has to fight Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, or John Cena.
CM Punk isn't worth it for Austin, as mean as that sounds (And I love CM Punk).
Again, Austin should remain retired from in-ring activity. A return will only hurt his legacy. It will be similar to when Michael Jordan returned to play for the Wizards.

I don't think Austin will ever wrestle again & I'm fine with that.
His WM 19 match against The Rock & his HOF induction was the perfect sendoff for me.
