Re: Paddy Power Odds

Everytime one of these threads come up people come and criticize people for betting on scripted event who clearly know absolutely nothing about the betting industry. Bookies aren't fools, the profit margins on these markets are a lot higher than the average market and I'm sure the max bet they would allow would be quite low comparatively. People are acting as if Vince could come along and put 100k on someone and clean up.

Also when then is such a big swing in odds it is most likely them just balancing their books because there has been a lot of people on on side. Especially in a niche, novelty market like this it would take a lot less money for a big swing in odds.

How much you win? I was in two minds to put a fiver bet on, and they were the two I would have picked.

Random question, but on a match like Miz/Cesaro, I always find them way too risky. Miz could win without winning the title, which is the main reason why you feel safe better on a champion. We all have an inkling when they're about to drop it, but when they can retain by DQ do you ever feel really cheated?

not in the case of the shield last night, the way those odds flipped, somebody had to be in 5dimes ear. anyway, that was the first time i gambled on wwe, and it made wrestling actually fun to watch again. i'm doing this regularly for now on, every ppv. let's bank on cena at mania.

Re: Paddy Power Odds

I do it every pvp and I'd do it every show if I could. Skybet have done it for ages and they don't have strict max bets. It makes watching way more fun.

It's the only way I make it through most PPVs these days. I actually care about the Divas matches on some shows now. The power of greed. Made Punk/Rock last month incredibly fun for a poor match.

Ironically I almost ran out of gas in that one but just soldiered through to stay awake.

I agree about the interest, especially with the divas. It looked like I was the only one who did care when Kaitlyn won judging by the reaction, well lack of from the crowd.

agreed about the greed. i even held in taking a piss at one point for the first time watching wwe since i was maybe 12. surprised u were so confident in henry. we both should have seen the swagger win. i kinda did, but didn't wanna believe it was possible.

Re: Paddy Power Odds

I stuck £10 on Swagger just before the show as compensation so I covered myself in the end
