Default Re: John Cena, Ryback, & Sheamus vs The Shield

If it's an elimination tag match, they can have Orton and Sheamus take Pins and Cena finish off the last guy. That won't really kill The Shield if it's 1 v 1 and Cena wins clean. Not like, Ambrose comes back to help out Rollins so Cena destroys them both. Cena pinning Rollins clean after like 10 minutes won't kill him if Rollins pins orton or sheamus clean.

I'm not worried; the little kids already know Cena will win anyways. Not like the Shield hasn't been buried from day 1.

So many people said the SHIELD would lose to Hell No & Ryback too though.
I'm gonna have a bit of faith. Cena is already strong enough to take the loss, they clearly feel the same with ryback as he keeps losing & Sheamus is also booked strong enough.

Personally I see this becoming a 2 on 3 and than Sheamus or ryback taking a pin

below zero % chance that is happening.

The fact that they seems to be pitching this as a normal tag match gives me hope. There logic with Ryback seems to be that so long as he isn't pinned he's fine. If this was an elimination thing or an elimination chamber thing, I wouldn't be able to see them winning because of Ryback, but with Sheamus there, I think there is a chance they can be beaten. Not a big chance, but enough for me to still hope, as many have said, at this point it's very easy for SHIELD to lose all relevance since they've been somewhat stale for a while now.

I completely disagree - you can still look strong without winning and we've seen it many times in the past.

What is considered by most to be Stone Cold's star-making performance? His submission match with Bret Hart where he passed out in the Sharpshooter - he didn't win that match.

Would anyone consider Shawn Michaels to 'look like a geek' after his two Mania losses to the Undertaker? Of course not! They were even matches where both guys looked they could win (even though no one expected Taker to lose, there were moments where you thought Shawn might really pull it out).

This whole notion that you have to win to be considered a threat is ridiculous - as long as the offense is even & Cena/Ryback/Sheamus sell the fact they've been through a war afterwards, then the Shield will be completely fine. What WILL make them look bad is if they beat the piss out of the Super Friends for the entire match, then fall victim to one big move... that's called bad booking & if Cena & Co. no-sell after the winning pinfall, then they're the ones you should be upset with.

As usual, WWE has put themselves in somewhat of a corner.

At EC: Make a big deal out of the fact that The Shield is a well-oiled machine and that Cena/Sheamus/Ryback are not. Have The Shield dominate the match and then have Cena do his usual shit where he can't be pinned, which leads to The Shield using heel-tactics. They can afford to lose the match by DQ, if it ends with them destroying Cena-brigade with a bunch of weapons and/or tables.
At RAW the next night: Have The Shield (Dean) explain that they don't care about wins and losses, they only care about justice.

It gives the Cena-brigade a win prior to Wrestlemania and it keeps The Shield looking strong.

The reason why Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus, Ryback and John Cena at WWE Elimination Chamber won’t be happening inside the Chamber is because it would be an elimination match and WWE doesn’t want to have to eliminate five of their hottest Superstars right now.

Ryback needs to win in this PPV, simple as that. The guy already lost a lot of momentum due to all those previous losses.
