Strong = going over.
Sure, we'd all think the Sheild looked strong if they had a great 30 minute contest, going toe-to-toe with three of WWE's top guys, only to lose. But in the eyes of casuals, Shield will look like geeks. If they're to remain a force they NEED to win or more importantly, not lose.

Exactly my point.
Sheamus, Ryback and Cena aren't a team. They are three top faces wanting a piece of the shield. They were the final three in the Royal Rumble. In fact, weeks a go they were fighting with eachother in the Rumble, now they will be teaming to face the best team in the WWE right now.
The Shield work as a team, in everything they do, from the way they beat you down, to the powerbomb all three have a hand in together. I can definitely see some tension happening in that face team. Most likely with Ryback and John Cena which will eventually lead to that big feud which is bound to happen when Cena wins the belt at Mania and then loses it to Ryback at Summerslam or something. |

right now a normal tag match. who knows if they change that next week.
Wouldn't surprise me if they keep it as is to protect Cena from serious injury (the guy is already beat up anyways)

Surely they HAVE to add a stipulation to this? Whether it's a no disqualification match, tornado tag or inside the Chamber, I don't care just don't let this be a standard 3 on 3 tag match because you're potentially wasting the match of the night.

Vince's Wet Dream
As of right now, neither Sheamus nor Ryback have a WM opponent. One possible scenario I see is that one of these two men turns on his team, creating a Sheamus vs Ryback WM match. Personally I'd prefer it be Ryback, he's been screwed so many times by the Shield that the old addage comes into play - if you can't beat em, join em. The only problem I see with this is that Ryback is over as a face and Vince wouldn't want to turn him right now. On the other hand, it would allow for some much needed character development for Ryback |
