So last year you had CM Puke and Jericho fizzle. You had Sheamus squash D Bry and the audience subsequently rage for an hour. You had Slow bury Rhodes and Cena-Rock got upstaged by the 1 saving grace of WM HHH vs Undertaker.
That was actually awesome. Since we know we'll see Trips/Lesnar, I do think they can have a great match. Trips brings it big time for the big matches and Lesnar is Lesnar. Will it need saving though? Between Punk, Jericho, and Ziggler we should have some great in ring action somewhere else during the night to make up for Rock/Cena.
You're fucken damn right, you've rustled my jimmies & I assume everyone else's!!! I tell you what, I'll pay your airfare over to Melbourne, it will only be a one way ticket though, because I will KILL you, you child molesting fuckwit!!!
There's going to have to be a gimmick to get smarks interested, and I would think general audience as well because Triple H already lost and is old. Kids think [Triple H] is cool but probably don't know Lesnar so much. It's not a huge draw unless it's something like "Vince MacMahon at the top of a ladder" match.
I liked the Triple H v Kevin Nash (sledge hammer on top the ladder match); but I think I was the only one. His short hair right now kind of ruins him for me.
-Rock/Cena II will not fizzle even though it's not the ideal match.
-HHH didn't save Mania 2 years in a row. Rock did.
HHH or whoever booked this rematch is basically ruining the card by doing it again for no reason other than to give HHH a win back over Lesnar. As for last year, WWE built WM28 on two matches last year, Rock/Cena and Taker/HBK/HHH, both delivered and had the right finish so it affected the entire feel of the PPV. This year it's Rock/Cena and Lesnar/HHH, I'm sure that again the top two matches will be great but this time the results are going to affect it the other way around. I don't see a satisfying scenario for the live or the PPV audience unless they go for a big surprise.
