I was talking about Taker/Hunter...easily the best match on the show. I thought Punk and Jericho was disappointing.

what believable story? that losing at Mania ruined Cena's year even though he went over BROCK FUCKING LESNAR at the PPV a month later? that his loss caused his divorce and not cheating on his wife with porn stars?

what good build up? a tedious legends segment? one face to face encounter? weeks of one or both guys not being on the show?

a reason to care? yeah i'm still looking for one. i'll take none, but you can have those three with your immensely low standards.

The people who want Rock to win are probably the same dummies who want Lesnar to win.

Rock already got a big win over Cena. Beating him again does nothing for the Rock, and just makes Cena look like a jobber.

Or there are people out there who are fans of both and do not get caught up in the wins/losses. Or people are fans of Rock and want him to win because hes their guy. Not every fan is supporting for silly reasons, trying to support because they think they know whats good for business and or being "dummies."

Nice way of thinking there.

Oh and Cena wont look like a jobber. Cena would tell you that himself.

I'm looking forward to the crowd reactions. Shows you how much I care for the feud or the match. I just want Cena to be shitted on unmercifully by that crowd.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

I was just thinking does anyone reckon John Laurinitis will play a part in this match in some way?

He returned to Smackdown last week and tried to align himself with The Rock and then copped a people's elbow, could a Cena and Laurinitis partnership occur?

Historical.

Yep, figured this even before Johnny returned on SD.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

It's already WM29, I remember the day of WM28 like it was yesterday, time flies. I'm not as excited as I was for Rock/Cena at WM28, mainly because I got everything I wanted to see from this program at that show but the two segments they did were excellent and promoted a different story which added a lot of anticipation for me. Waiting for the match, the story and the overall atmosphere around it, no matter what happens, result, heel turn, interference etc, it will be memorable.

As for Ace, I saw the segment on SD as just another Rock/heel promo for the crowd like they did with Rhodes and Sandow. Ace was fitting in the context of the program with Cena so they did it with him. He's not that type of character to decide the WM main event.
