Hope it isn't. But either way the ending of the match will determine how we all walk out of metlife stadium feeling about the match.

However if ROCK had stayed in the WWE, he would have had some great matches with the likes of Cena, Punk, HBK, Orton and etc.
Agreed. Except for some dragged out mid match spots and occasional mistiming from The Rock, I thought it was above average.

It was mostly those stupid insecure Punk marks, who can't accept the fact that nobody was talking Punk and Jericho after the event, who gave it a thumbs down.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

My ideal finish would be that Cena throws everything he can at Rock, but he can't get the pin. Finally, with the referee down, Cena grabs a steel chair, nails the rock, then hits him with the AA and pins him.

We all know Cena is winning, but if Cena turns heel in this way, I think it would at least be fresh and sufferable.

My ideal finish would be similar but the other way around. There is a ref bump, Cena grabs a chair but decides to put it down because it's against everything he preaches. The Rock instead grabs the chair, clocks Cena and pins Cena for the 1, 2, 3. No heel turn for either man.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

Just rewatched Rock/Cena I on Youtube and they communicated so much during the match. It's understandable that it was slow paced because Rock's body wasn't adjusted to wrestling 15min matches 4 or so times a week.
It was decent. I liked it better now rather than the first time I saw it. Odd I know.
