I agree with this. I don't expect Cena to say "I'm here, you're not" this time. If he does then the feud will probably suck. I'm not totally against the match because at least the WWE title is on the line. I don't understand why people are using the 'Once in a lifetime' slogan as an excuse to complain about this match. That was just for promotional reasons and kayfabe wise, it makes sense. What is Cena supposed do? Not challenge the Rock at WM because their first match was billed as Once in a lifetime? There is a reason for them to face each other. I.e. Cena won the rumble so he is entitled to challenge the Rock.

2013 is "Cena's year" whatever the fuck that's suppose to mean. For the past 7 years it's been his "year".. he's sitting on top of the mountain. He's never fell from that spot and never been an "underdog".

He will beat Rock at Mania because his little CeNation needs to have their moment. It's going to be a nightmare to see.
I don't want to see this match either if I wanna see the same match again I can watch last years, so I'm not buying the PPV.

Billing it as "once in a lifetime" was a cheap, dirty trick by Vince to pop a huge buyrate, if he knew all along that they were going to do it again a year later. People have a right to be pissed off about that. It's virtually false advertising. They didn't have to call it "once in a lifetime", or have Rock win the title, or have Cena win the Rumble. Vince booked it all.

It's incredibly sneaky and for that reason, it is acceptable to "use the once in a lifetime slogan as an excuse to complain about this match".

Bingo.. And for this reason and this reason alone I will not be buying WM.. I buy WM each year. It's the only PPV I actually buy.. It's been tradition for ages to actually blow a stupid amount of money on 3hrs of entertainment..

Not this year.. Fuck Vince..

He could've easily taken the photo before he lost the title. And besides he needs to show off the title to get more press for WWE.

Yeah because this is the first time and only time Vince has billed a match as 'once in a lifetime'? You can take the slogan literally or not though.

I can't remember them doing it before to this extent. To the point of actually releasing a DVD that bares that slogan. Their entire promotion for the match was centred around that slogan.

I'm sure there have been times when commentators have mentioned in passing, " this may be the only time you will ever see this match" or " this this could be a once in a lifetime event" or something along those lines. They've used that sort of thing many times, but never on this level.

ring-wise, don't deny it, their match at WM 28 was pretty decent. Much better than the terribe Punk/Rock matches (i'm sorry but i just won't pretend their matches have excited me at all, the flow is terrible). So ring-wise this will be much better, since Rock/Cena have similar size and Cena can carry even someone like The Great Khali into a decent match. Mic-wise, if they get something fresh, this will be a pretty good feud.

Punk/Rock was honestly a dissapointment. The mic work was great, but the feud felt so meaningless as a whole and the matches were not good, it was hard to get that excited about the feud.

I would love The Rock to turn heel at RAW tonight. Shooting against everyone and leaving for Hollywood with the belt. That would also explain why Rock isn't here the next two weeks.
One way or another, there will be people who "hate" him for being not here regularly. Why not use this and turn him heel. Makes life easier for everybody.

Won't happen though.
While I am not 100 percent bent on Cena vs Rock again, I am really excited to see in which direction the storyline is going this time.
Like always. I just stay away from here and enjoy the ride.
If you smell.....

Rock turning heel isn't going to happen, but nice idea. Hollywood Rock from 2003 was great and really entertaining. But tbh even if he did turn heel he simply hasn't been that good since coming back. It wouldn't work out as well as we would hope.
