A win over The Rock does nothing for Cena in the long run? The Rock is the biggest star he will ever face besides Taker at Mania. They will book Cena over Rock at WrestleMania 29, than use that as a jumpstart to Cena/Taker at WM 30.
Oh, and The Rock was a huge star in the late 90's and early 2000's. Why did he have to beat Hogan and Austin two years in a row? That's how you put over someone. Their going to put Cena over Rock and move on from the "Rock is God" stuff and we'll move back to reality.

What's the point in promoting Cena in that bracket when nobody will buy it? All it does it alienate adult fans further from John Cena because he'd be put on a pedestal that he doesn't deserve. As for him having the credibility to be put in that bracket, longevity doesn't equal quality. Cena has had mixed reactions for YEARS, and is nowhere near as popular as those three, although I do understand the reasoning behind this.
A win over the Rock does nothing for Cena because he's done everything already, he's already at the pinnacle, he can't be launched any further.
