Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena II Discussion Thread

49 DAYS.

That's all we have to sit through. Honesty I think we're just going to have to bite the pillow on this one so we can get back to reality after Wrestlemania with John Cena reigning supreme with an iron fist. OHHHH THAT'S GONNA SUCK.

Atleast we won't be tortured into watching any more ROCK main events for a while, right ?

Yeah, losing to a Laurantitis, that made him look really strong. Or how about being pinned clean by Punk. Or losing to Ziggler. Or losing to Rock.

That's 4 loses in one year. Austin probably never had 4 loses in one year, same with Hogan. It's not that he's booked like a midcarder, it's just that he loses much more than he should be when he's the top face of the company.

Yeah, people may reject the idea of Cena in the same bracket as Hogan/Austin/Rock. But, it makes all the sense in the world for WWE to do that. He's been the top face for almost 9 years strong. That's enough credibility for him to be in the same bracket as Hogan, Austin and Rock.

A win over The Rock does nothing for Cena in the long run? The Rock is the biggest star he will ever face besides Taker at Mania. They will book Cena over Rock at WrestleMania 29, than use that as a jumpstart to Cena/Taker at WM 30.

Oh, and The Rock was a huge star in the late 90's and early 2000's. Why did he have to beat Hogan and Austin two years in a row? That's how you put over someone. Their going to put Cena over Rock and move on from the "Rock is God" stuff and we'll move back to reality.

You all may make fun of people with "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMN IT!" for the young kids or marks or whatever, but you guys are even worse than them. You have this deep-seeded legitimate rage for Cena and his fans to the point where you let it affect your day to day life.

Grow up. Seriously.

Oh yeah, about 15 million of us = 1.6 million WM 29 buys.

Everybody is hungry for Rock - Cena II.

A Cena victory would be more predictable than Taker maintaining his streak

Of course I'll be cheering for Rock, but Cena is going to win the belt. End of story.

What's the point in promoting Cena in that bracket when nobody will buy it? All it does it alienate adult fans further from John Cena because he'd be put on a pedestal that he doesn't deserve. As for him having the credibility to be put in that bracket, longevity doesn't equal quality. Cena has had mixed reactions for YEARS, and is nowhere near as popular as those three, although I do understand the reasoning behind this.

A win over the Rock does nothing for Cena because he's done everything already, he's already at the pinnacle, he can't be launched any further.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena II Discussion Thread

They had the chance to create something memorable for this years Wrestlemania with Lesnar on the card but they failed and not only that all of this just so that idiot Cena can get his win back something no one wants to see, something he doesnt need and he doesnt even care cause the last time he lost he forgot about losing the next night

Hes not in Rock,Austin and Hogans league and he will never be not even close comparing them in any shape or form is just dumb
