Your logic is flawed big time here. The hell are you talking about. Rock was more like the so called Rock of "old," in his return promo and here you are saying that he was burying everything. lol at this.

Say what you want about the bday episode and the WWE title but it isn't that big of a deal. Vince wanted to dedicate a night towards Rock, he did. Boo hoo. The WWE title is just being used to let Rock have a final run w/ a crossover into mainstream exposure all while transitioning it back into the hands of his golden boy John Cena. Cena losing last year is not going to take away from his eventual win this year. Thats crazy talk. The damage hasn't been done at all.
Oh yes he has and you know it.

He buried Cena. For over 2 years now Cena's been booked to look like nothing more then The Rock's bitch. When Dwayne was an active performer he knew the importance of making younger stars look great and he did a lot to help them by doing a lot of jobs for them on his way out back in 2004 but today it feels like it's all about his ego. The message behind that match last year was that The Rock beat John Cena and that his era was better. Besides rematches mean shit anyway. Seriously did you really care about Andre/Hogan 2 on Saturday Night's Main Event? or Rock/Hogan at No Way Out?

As far as the WWE title's is concerned Rock of say 2001 wouldn't have accepted the WWE title in the first place. There is no good mainstream exposure to be had it other then making the WWE themselves look like morons. Seriously this was a WCW 2000 type move here? No Dwayne Johnson's not David Arquette but he's hardly the wrestler he used to be now is he?

The birthday celebration was one of the worst episodes of Raw in recent memory. How can you in good conscience defend it? Hell Vince and Co should of been arrested for soliciting prostitution that night.

There is nothing that can help Cena at this point... he looks like a bitch all the time, that's why he gets the crowd hate.

Cena has buried his entire roster for 8 years. Let him get buried for once. In a lifetime.

For the posters that are bitching about Rock's title reign you all just need to get the fuck over it. Rock winning the belt is the best thing to happen to the WWE Championship in 8 years. It is finally around the waist of a guy that looks like a champion and is booked like a champion. All your guys complaints about Rock never being there and shit. Look how often is a WWE Championship match defended on Raw? And how often does a WWE championship change hands on Raw? I honestly think its better that the WWE champion does not show up to every show and I believe you should pay to see the WWE Champ wrestle just like how it was in the Hogan Era.

Now a lot of posters have said that the reason you want Cena to win is because he is there every week. I swear fucking fans today lol has Cena's over-saturation on the product really benefited WWE? How is Cena winning the WWE Championship and than going another boring reign where he no sells his feuds and just runs rampant over everyone on the roster a good thing for the company? Cena beating Rock is not going to change his character or get him cheered by a majority of the fanbase in fact he will be hated more than he every was before.

WWE's sick desire to push Cena as one of the "GOATS" is so pathetic and which is why a lot of fans like myself have stopped watching. You guys go ahead and root for Cena at WM and see where that gets you. I can't wait when after WM everyone is bitching about Cena's title reign boring them to tears. What a waste of Rock's return on the worst Babyface in the history of the company.

No he hasn't because it is NOT true.

You are silly as fuck if you think John fucking Cena was buried by The Rock. Get the fuck with that shit. John Cena would tell you himself. People throw the buried term around so much its not even being used correctly.

Of course when Rock was younger he did good in making people look great. As a full time star, there were loads of chances and opportunities to do that. Right now, he is a special attraction. Hell, Hes still doing that in ways today anyway. Whether its praise on the mic, in interviews, in the ring and so on. Simply losing a match against someone isn't the only way in making someone look good, or put them over in importance.

Its not all about his ego and the only message from the match last year was not his era was better either. Right now, yes Rock is winning a lot, and yes his status is god like. WWE is getting the most they can out of him. Rock stature and novelty is sky high. Its no different from Taker coming and winning his one match every year. Rock's getting his in now. Hes getting that long awaited and deserved final run. Hes closing the chapter of his storied WWE career. Guess what Cena is going to be the one to knock him down. The golden boy. THE face of the WWE. Rematch or not, its still going to be important and WWE damn sure will hype it and look at it that way. Saying no one gives a shit about rematches isn't even entirely true.

Im not even defending the actual content form birthday episode, Im saying that it wasn't even that big of a deal. For one night, Vince celebrated and honored one of his biggest superstars. Big deal.

With Fast And Furious6 coming out in May, Rock very well could win at Mania. That belt is a good little extra promotional tool for the movie and I wouldn'tbe surprised if VVince saw it as a good marketing technique.

The only problem with that is ER is a week before the movie release so it would look bad for Rock to lose it then. Unless they set up s triple threat and have someone else take the pin. Then he can go around claiming that he didn't lose the championship and what not.

Lol

The rock wins title at royal rumble

The rock defends the title at elimination chamber (altough he did get pinned 1 2 3)

The rock loses title at wrestlemania

Best thing to happen to the wwe championship in years!

I almost forgot rock was champion I can't even remember the last time he was on raw

Cm punk made the title more relevant than most champions in 2011, currently the rock has done nothing for it other than prove that he can't wrestle or do a good promo anymore

The issue isn't that the rock isn't there, its that they aren't doing anything to build this match up. They are relying on "the rock vs john cena 2" to sell itself. Oh, a nd video packages.

If wwe REALLY wanted to create a buzz, they would work out a deal with a talk show for rock to go on and promote mania. Then have cena dhow up and they can either have a brief staredown/trash talking segment or cena can show up and just punch rock and leave.

WWE is too prideful to do anything like this thouvh because it wouldn't be on wwe tv.
