Dude, please. It is not that serious. Stop being such a mark. There are far worse people to step foot in the industry.

Because what will be the point of him retaining the title? Absolute none. He's leaving after extreme rules and he can't be going over everyone every fucking ppv. Rock really needs to start putting talent over because it's pointless to have him win all the time.

What kind of message is that sending to us if this Hollywood part timer is always going over the stars of today? It's pretty much telling us that this era sucks, they don't even care about it and they'll always live in the past.

Top 10 all time favorites:

Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho
Brock Lesnar
Kurt Angle

They don't have chemistry together, and either way, the result will be something we've seen a million times before. John Cena has nothing left to bring to the table as WWE Champion, and neither does The Rock.

It's the epitome of recycling, and it's a holding pattern for the WWE that will never allow them to grow. No matter how many eyeballs are watching, or how much revenue it brings in.
I feel the same way you do buddy.

I feel like I've been completely ripped-off with Dwayne Johnson's big return and yes I'm calling him Dwayne. The Rock I knew and loved died nearly a decade ago. The person or the character we're seeing today is nothing more then a transparent egomaniac and nothing more. Everything about Dwayne's return has left a bad taste in my mouth i.e. :

Burying the entire roster in his first promo back as well as his most recent one with Cena.
The Infamous Rock Birthday celebration
Beating the face of the company at WM. No matter how I feel abut Cena personally it's always been the time honoured tradition in pro wrestling for the semi-retired legend to go out on his back and that didn't happen. This year if it happens no one's going to care because the damage is already done.
Giving him the WWE title.

I loved The Rock back in the day like no one else he was 2nd only to Austin as one of my favourite wrestlers during the attitude era but enough is enough already.

But...

- This era does suck
- we'll always live in the past as long as this PG era exist
- nobody cares about it
- that's the reason brock, rock, undertaker, jericho and Triple H are headlining wrestlemania.. cause the current talent SUCKS ASS.

message recieved.

( and as long as Cena is champion AGAIN, none of his fans can complain about new talent not being put over and living in the past cause its the same shit. )

The Rock in his heyday was still an arrogant egomaniac though, so he hasn't died. He's hardly changed.

He didn't bury anybody especially not in that first promo back. Hell, The Rock in his heyday was notorious for promos like that, the trash talk about his opponents. Your logic is flawed big time here. The hell are you talking about. Rock was more like the so called Rock of "old," in his return promo and here you are saying that he was burying everything. lol at this.

Say what you want about the bday episode and the WWE title but it isn't that big of a deal. Vince wanted to dedicate a night towards Rock, he did. Boo hoo. The WWE title is just being used to let Rock have a final run w/ a crossover into mainstream exposure all while transitioning it back into the hands of his golden boy John Cena. Cena losing last year is not going to take away from his eventual win this year. Thats crazy talk. The damage hasn't been done at all.

If you think Rock's title reign is bad, wait till after WM 29 when John Cena will be doing the same thing, every single week.

Merry
Christmas!
