Yet I paid $900 to go see the show in person. Have some perspective, my friend. You are given a free show that costs people $65 to watch on TV over in the United States. Just because they "lied" to you (they didn't) doesn't mean you should boycott it. It's not a lie because Cena won the Rumble, making the twice in a lifetime thing more a coincidence than anything.
I am glad to learn that you don't feel cheated by the WWE despite their recent actions. But still,I think there are a lot of fans who went to the last Mania or ordered the PPV only because they thought Rock vs Cena was only a once in a lifetime affair.
Also its not only about money in the human society, there's something more known as Ethics.Because of WWE's promise(or hype) to keep it once in a lifetime,a lot of people like me were emotionally involved in this feud.We thought it will take place only once and wanted our ideal to win.
No body had stopped WWE to promote last year's match as Icon vs Icon like what they did with Hogan vs Rock match,or Attitude vs PG era,but they went with 'Once in a lifetime tag',only to get the maximum buys & fool the fans,,who were either emotionally or financially involved.
But anyway, time for all this bitching is over I guess.Rock is going to put over Cena at this Mania, hence I'll stop by now.
PS: I am all the more disappointed because I know that these appearances, matches etc,by the Rock are very rare. When we will see him again competing,no one knows, hence I wanted his every match to be with a new star. But whatever I guess!
