They want and expect it to do well but its obvious they didnt want it to break last years record. If they did they wouldve booked Rocky/Brock and Cena/Taker

I am glad to learn that you don't feel cheated by the WWE despite their recent actions. But still,I think there are a lot of fans who went to the last Mania or ordered the PPV only because they thought Rock vs Cena was only a once in a lifetime affair.

Also its not only about money in the human society, there's something more known as Ethics.Because of WWE's promise(or hype) to keep it once in a lifetime,a lot of people like me were emotionally involved in this feud.We thought it will take place only once and wanted our ideal to win.

No body had stopped WWE to promote last year's match as Icon vs Icon like what they did with Hogan vs Rock match,or Attitude vs PG era,but they went with 'Once in a lifetime tag',only to get the maximum buys & fool the fans,,who were either emotionally or financially involved.

But anyway, time for all this bitching is over I guess.Rock is going to put over Cena at this Mania, hence I'll stop by now.

PS: I am all the more disappointed because I know that these appearances, matches etc,by the Rock are very rare. When we will see him again competing,no one knows, hence I wanted his every match to be with a new star. But whatever I guess!

It's true the Once in a Lifetime was to sell the match as being more special, but most didn't buy into it. I remember lots of people thinking a rematch would happen eventually.

I went to WM 28 last year because I will admit I was actually excited for their match last year. Despite the build to the match being subpar. Still it was one of all time favorites Rock back in the main event of WM in a match we thought we would never see. I have never been a fan of Cena's work at all no matter what he does but last year I will admit he actually showed some intensity in his promos that was refreshing that actually got me even more pumped up to see the match as I really thought Rock was bringing out some much needed freshness with Cena.

Now a lot of people have said they thought the match was shit. To be honest I was expecting a lot better from it but cmon you have Cena in the fucking match so you would be a fool to expect a 5 star classic. Still the atmosphere in Sun Life Stadium was ELECTRIC. I met people that traveled from around the world to see this match because WWE made it seem like at WM 28 would be the only time we would see this match.

I do feel cheated because I spent a lot of my money going to WM last year to see this match. And to top it off we got the perfect ending I thought would not happen. Seeing Rock beat Cena clean was amazing feeling and the reaction in the stadium was off the charts.

You see to me the biggest problem's I have with this rematch is Vince's desire and continuously failed to attempts to make it seem that Cena should be considered as one of the "GOATS". Another problem is that they marketed this match so much last year as "Once In A Lifetime" making it seem it like it was the only time we would ever see it. And even releasing a fucking DVD set. But now all of that is ruined because they couldn't stay true to the "Once In A Lifetime" slogan.

There is no reason for this rematch to take place. It's just Vince hoping to strike that same magic twice and I hope he fails at it. Cena beating Rock is not going to win him any more fans or do anything for his career at this point. He has already been the top dog in WWE for the past 8 years. I just don't understand for the life of me why WWE thinks Cena needs to be put over anymore.

So thanks WWE for cheapening WM 28. I really shouldn't be surprised though. This company will continue to shove Cena down our throats sadly until the day he retires.

If you bought WrestleMania because of the "Once in a Lifetime" tagline and feel cheated now, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

You're a fool, is what I'm saying. It's business. Get over it.

I've selectively quoted here, but essentially, ^*this*^

Again, even if Cena does turns heel, that doesn't excuse the farily blatant false advertising of last years match.

To be honest, I always thought that calling it once in a lifetime was fairly idiotic, since they'd only paint themselves into a corner when they wanted to do a remtatch at another Mania down the road.

And that's exactly what they've done.

As regards to the not-going-to-happen-but-let's-speculate-anyway John Cena heel turn, although it would certainly freshen up the main event scene, unlike some, I don't think that it would be the be-all-end-all cure for all of Cena's ills. A heel turn would've been a great way to save Cena's character from becoming the king of mixed reactions *back in 2006* allowing him (in the long term) to be univerally popular with the fans rather than the poster boy for 50/50. Would it have the same effect In 2013 though? Not so sure.

Vince refused to go down that road because he was (and still is) a stubborn S.O.B who's always had a mentality, and he's even more of a stubborn S.O.B now.

This. Its no differnt from a loser leaves town tagline, or loser leaves wwe. And so on.

Also Charlie Bronson there were def more people buying into the once in a lifetime tag, due to the mass amounts of bitching about it this year. Those saying "twice in a lifetime!!1"or "once my ass "and all that shit.

In kayfabe, it's not WWE that set-up the Cena/Rock rematch. Cena won the Rumble and can therefore challenge Rock for the title. What's wrong with that?! Did the same people bitch at Austin/Rock at Mania 17?!
