But the way WWE protracts Cena,I don't know whether they will alow him to turn heel or not.Perhaps Vince is too afraid of what happened at WM 17,that heel turn literally killed one of the most popular characters of all time,so perhaps he doesn't want to repeat the past mistake(in his mind).

Having said that I think Cena will prove to be a fantastic heel, this guy can draw heat like anyone.

But lets keep our fingers crossed whether Cena turns heel or not.If he beats Rock clean and remains face, then the show will go back circa 2010 days aka boring.
I agree I would swap Paul Heyman for AJ Lee as new RAW GM and Divas Champion and Katilyn joins them, and I agree, I believe John Cena is the one behind the Shield, him and AJ Lee!

Its just interesting how one is loved so much while another is hated so much

You make a very valid point. Remember when Rocky first came in there was a lot of talk that he was going to have three matches with Cena. I for one was no surprised they did the rematch this year. I am starting to think WWE is stupid enough to have them again next Mania, it will be obvious if they make the terrible decision of wasting Rocky/Brock for Summerslam
Actually the talk was having 3 matches with 2 of them taking place at Mania. If you're going by Rock's interviews he's only said he'll be at WM 30. He could be HOF and have a supporting role for all we know.

Bottom line is this. You guys are out of your mind if you think he'll book Rock Cena 3 over Cena Taker at WM 30.

Cena's not turning either. Why would you waste Cena's heel turn on the Shield? They're not NWO Hall and Nash. There's no profit to be made there. Here's what you guys have to remember. Wrestlers make a large chunk based off of merchandise sales. Austin turned, his salary got smaller, and then he goes to JR and starts complaining until he's face again. Vince just isn't going to do with Cena. The landscape has to change before you turn Cena. The adult crowd is not going to get behind heel Cena and buy his gear like the little kiddies do.

Rock-Brock is definitely not taking place at SummerSlam. That's a Wrestlemania caliber main event, no way it's going to happen at SummerSlam. I can see Lesnar-Cena II at SummerSlam or Lesnar-Punk, but not Lesnar-Rock. That one will be saved.

Rock-Cena III is going to happen at Extreme Rules and that's that. That should be the end of the program for good, I can't see them stretching it out to Wrestlemania 30. The same match, three straight years at Wrestlemania would be overkill and turn off a lot of viewers, plus you miss the opportunity for Cena-Taker.

Yeah, I think my expectations for the outcome for this match are way too high, but like a sucker, I'm gonna keep them there. The most likely outcome for this match is Cena hulking up and going wild to defy the odds yet again and finally beat the GREAT one. Then celebrate with his loyal fans and shake hands with the rock showing respect to a superstar that he looks up to.

KARLA LOPEZ, THE HOTTEST MODEL/ACTRESS ALIVE. Sheamus, Swagger, Wade, Dixie, Cesaro, Sami, DB, RKO, Drew, Del Rio, Cody, Punk, AJ LEE / (Thanks to ASAP/CHAMP/Abrown for the sigs) CHAMPviaDQ = Great GFX.

And yes I don't think Rock's fans would pay to see him lose to f*** John Cena of all people and crushing their ideal at the grandest stage.

PS: In India Wrestle-Mania is on free TV and not on PPV,yet I am boycotting this year's main event, only because of WWE's betrayal. When you promote a match as 'Once in a Lifetime',better keep your word, rather than making mockery of us fans.

Anyway,Rock is such a gentleman,he never had any problems in the past with losing and putting over talent and never will have.It is because of this humility that I respect The Rock so much.Despite being the biggest superstar of all time, and tasting success in and outside the pro-wrestling industry unlike anyone, how can someone remain so benign and down to earth really beats me?!

Cena bad-mouthed Rock since 2008(real not kayfabe),and yet he is putting this guy over, strange!
Yet I paid $900 to go see the show in person. Have some perspective, my friend. You are given a free show that costs people $65 to watch on TV over in the United States. Just because they "lied" to you (they didn't) doesn't mean you should boycott it. It's not a lie because Cena won the Rumble, making the twice in a lifetime thing more a coincidence than anything.

Totally, Rocky was unbelievably confident in his abilities so he didnt have to stoop to backstage politics and bury other talent to make himself look better. The fact that he put over Goldberg when he couldve easily just left proves he cared about the company. He also came back to put Brock on the map, those two guys were seen as the future at the time and the same man gave them the biggest push possible. Rock is simple the GOAT

Steve turned heel cuz he felt stale and felt his character needed change. While most hate his heel run imo he was more popular once he started that "what" crap then when he returned late 2000 until Mania 17. People say he was stale in 2002, not true, look at the crowd and you see a ton of his shirts and signs far more than when he returned in 2000.

It is a lie there is no "coincidences" in wrestling. Everyone should be boycotting this match over the lie that was "Once In A Lifetime" last year. This rematch totally cheapens WM 28 as they made such a big deal about it last year like it was the only time you would ever see it. I wish more fans would stop being mindless sheep and stop putting money in this crap because I fear this lazy booking will get worse.

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

I'm going to come off as a "butt hurt Punk mark" but the fact that this match is not only happening again but the main event is a damn disgrace.

I am a huge Rock fan, one of my all time favourites but why on earth does he get a rematch with Cena. There is literally no avenue storyline wise to go down. Their feud was dead and buried and that feud last year completely sucked. I get Rock being Champion because it draws more eyes to the WWE but why on earth should he face Cena? The only way this match could have been acceptable was if Punk made it a triple threat and won or at least made look good if he lost.

This match is ridiculous and I don't give a crap who wins because neither deserve the main event spot.
