As much as I'd like to see it and as much as it's needed for the WWE Cena will not be turning heel at WM 29 or anytime after that.

I think they'll continue to tease a heel turn to add a dynamic and cater to the fans that don't want to see Rock/Cena II(the same fans that want to see him turn heel).

Whether they actually do it or not remains to be seen.

Plus, if they were going to turn him heel it'd at least be against someone who could maybe replace him. No point giving a super over superstar, who is part time at best, the sympathy of being turned on by John Cena.
austin won the rumble in '01 and beat kurt angle in a tag match when kurt was still champ.

2013, cena wins rumble.

2013 feb ppv cena loses, feb 01 ppv austin loses

Boy would I love to be wrong on that but I believe if Cena was going to turn heel it would of happened already.
They predicted a heel turn when it was obviously not happening or had no proof.

Now no one predicts it despite all the proof.

Thats the know it all attitude the iwc, has. me? I base it on the proof.

Lets see,

Nexus - it was 2010, PG era was new, they had nobody else, and wwe made it obvious that he wasn't turning(he was at his 2nd colored t shirt at the time, pg cena was fresh)

2011 - they were building to wrestlemania 28, impossibility

Embrace the hate, just a tease, if he was turning heel, we wouldn't have known, it would've been a surprise with minor hints.

Wrestlemania 28 - it was miami and rock just came back, no way was cena winning and no signs of him turning(he wasn't mad after the loss at wm 27, and wasn't as desperate, he was like rocky balboa in this match with the I need to win, etc)

Wrestlemania 29 - obvious heel stuff here from the evidence, cena is desperate, life has become ruin(in storyline), look at his face at the end, the rock exposed him, he's had a bad year, is acting like a whiner instead of the cena we know that dust himself off and tries again, this cena is angry about his loss, and had hate on his face when the rock told him how it is.

Never before was there an opportunity to turn heel.

austin was the golden boy in 01, and the rock, jetted, yet they still did it.

Yeah, we're gonna get the good old fashioned respect win. A clean win followed by a handshake. *yawn*

If Brock cared to hold the title, he could get away with it too. I hope he doesn't though. Taker too, no doubt he could pull it off as well but he has too much respect for the title to do something like that.

I don't care who wins. Everyone's a loser with this match as we have seen it before (and it was crap), if cena wins then WWE will be boring until he drops the title, if rock wins then its an insult to the title as he's not exactly a fighting champion and can't exactly wrestle any more

Cena shouldn't turn heel at Mania. I think they should have him on the brink of turning but I'd definitely keep that line grey.

The thing is, if he does turn heel, you have the risk of it being a massive flop. Why? Because right now, he has a split crowd. On one side, there's the kids who look up to him as their hero, as the guy who triumphs over evil. If he turns heel, you loss that fanbase, and the merchandise sales will most likely go down because to the kids, Cena would have turned their back on them.

Than, there's the older fans who can't stand him. They don't like his character and find him stale and boring. Some of them are craving for him to turn heel, they want him to have a change in his character. So, if you turn him heel, the older fans will begin to like him. Thus rendering the whole thing pointless. The object of a heel turn should be to have the entire fanbase against you, but I can guarantee you that it won't be the case with a Cena heel turn. If the fans just flipped in terms of reactions, than it's a lost cause. It'll be like Austin heel turn where he was a heel, but was still getting big reactions. Cena would be the same.

It's not that I don't want him to turn heel. By all means, it would be interesting to see him work as a heel. But, you have to put other factors that are involved. His fans, his merchandise sales, the fact that the people who boo him still pay to the go to the shows. It's not like WWE's losing money with Cena as the top face, it's the completely opposite actually. Seriously, there's basically no reason to turn him heel, other than to cater to the IWC which WWE should never do. Sure, he could have a change in his character, but I think a heel turn would be way to much of a change in a short amount of time. It'll be interesting, but I think it could be a mistake in the long run.

Than, you have the fact that they really don't have anyone who can fill in as the top face after Cena turn heel. They tried to use The Rock in 2001 after Austin turned, but it never really worked out as they planned. Ryback's not quite there yet, and he's jobbed a lot the last few months. Sheamus isn't there yet either. Punk won't work IMO, Orton's not reliable and is on his last strike. There would have to be someone who they can't build up as the top face to take down the "evil" John Cena.

Who, in your opinion, would that be? Because as I see it right now there's no other guy who can be the top face of the company. And no, The Rock isn't an option.

You all may make fun of people with "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMN IT!" for the young kids or marks or whatever, but you guys are even worse than them. You have this deep-seeded legitimate rage for Cena and his fans to the point where you let it affect your day to day life.

Grow up. Seriously.
