Re: Is there any chance the Rock will beat Cena?

Cena over Rock, 100% guarantee.

This WrestleMania is not going to be a classic. Pretty certain of that.

I think this is more like a 50/50. Although I don't see Cena losing two Manias in a row against the Rock.

Planning Rock vs. Cena II

It's happening. It's here. Get over it.

So how would you make it the best match possible? What would you want to see from Rock and Cena? What finish, and how long would the match go?

WISH LIST

A new, 44th WWE Champion [x]
Daniel Bryan, SummerSlam 2013. Then Orton won it and the WWE was like

SmackDown moves to live Thursdays []
Cena is not in a title match nor a main event at WrestleMania []
Raw returns to two hours, instead of three []

I mentioned earlier in this thread how I'd like the match structure to go down:

Leave out the fat, work the crowd into a frenzy with the big moves and well-built kick outs. With the raucous atmosphere they are expected to have it should be a proper WrestleMania "epic" match if all goes well. I'm not excited for this feud at all but with the right ingredients it could turn out to be a better match than last year which people are split on the actual quality anyway.

I agree. I still think they can crank out a good 25-minute match at least because its Mania and personally longer matches in that time frame feel more special than a 15-20 minute pop out.

A good template of fast-paced, always hot match is Rock vs. Austin at WM 17. Started with a brawl, used weapons, went into submissions, stealing finishers, did their actual finishers, and a hot and violent ending.

Maybe a last-minute announcement for a no disqualifications would really heat the match up, but it depends on if the build will have animosity between Rock and Cena like "You're the champ and I will destroy you and your legacy at Mania," instead of "I respect you and I want a good match."

Re: Official The Rock vs. John Cena Thread: Greatness vs. Redemption, TWICE IN A LIFE

I just hope WM 29 is remembered for the massive "Fuck you Cena" chants at the end.

A mark for:

Daniel Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins, Brock Lesnar

All time faves:

Bret Hart, Austin, CM Punk

Greatness vs Redemption is a shit name. Is that the best they could come up with?

I rolled my eyes when The Rock tweeted it after Cena beat Punk.
