This just occurred to me.. don't they normally do TWO Chamber matches.. one for each title/brand?
They're doing Rock/Punk for the WWE Title in a SINGLES Match, and I'm guessing they'll do a Chamber match for the World Title with Del Rio probably losing it.. My question is, what will be the other Chamber match?
Well, one chamber match isn't so bad. Don't see what the point of having a number one contender's match is when the someone involved in the World Title chamber match will likely be in the title picture going into Mania.
I'll tell you though, they better start building that chamber match on Smackdown this week, because two weeks of build for that match is comical.
I assume that's what Booker's announcement is on Smackdown. That Del Rio will defend it in the chamber and he'll just announce the participants, rather than having qualifying matches.
I think they'll only do one this year. Look at the HIAC PPV. In the past years, there's been at least 2 cell matches on that PPV, but this year there was only one. Seems like they might be watering down the big matches slightly.
Plus with Rock/Punk already confirmed it seems likely that they'll just be one chamber match with the WHC on the line.
This is the problem with the themed PPV's. It has taken away the true essence and excitement of the Elimination Chamber. One chamber should be enough but since the PPV is named after it they're going to have two. I assume one is a number one contender's match and the other is the WHC match.
