Cena put Punk and Rock over huge in his promo tonight. Cena made it completely believable that he can't beat Punk (despite the # of wins he had against him in 2010-2011).

I believe this match will happen for a few reasons:

1. Rock can't be there every RAW going into WM. It will be easier if CM Punk and Cena can carry the feud while he's gone.
2. CM Punk will regain the title in controversial fashion against The Rock at Elimination Chamber.
3. Rock will use his rematch clause at WM because we all know Rock does things on the biggest of stages.
4. CM Punk will continue his reign acting like it never ended at the Rumble. So if he wins the title at the Elimination Chamber he will claim he's been WWE Champion for 456 days. Remember he said this EC match is a rematch for The Rock. If Punk continues his reign -- even in his own mind -- it will tie in well with Bruno getting inducted.

My prediction:

WWE Championship, Triple Threat: CM Punk (c) vs. The Rock (#1 Contender/Rematch Clause) vs. John Cena (Royal Rumble Winner)

Nah, it's Rock vs Cena, "Once in a while". That's been the plan ever since the first Rock vs Cena was announced the night after WM 27. Punk is going to be devalued by having to face Taker.

Rock/Cena 2 is the bigger match up.

Unnessecary to insert someone who'll add nothing nothing to the feud.

Let's be honest, build-up to Rock/Punk was actually mediocre. The formula was very basic. Not that it's bad.

Plus, it will lose the luster of 2 big box office kings going head-to-head with each other. Just you and me, no need for some irrelevant 3rd banana to spice up the competition because it's already hot as it is.

Doubt it.
The entire reason Rock came back in 2011 was to eventually put over Cena at Wrestlemania.
And WWE is cashing it in by having Rock/Cena feud for 3 straight Wrestlemanias.
When Cena beats Rock at this Wrestlemania, since it becomes 1 win 1 loss each, expect Rock/Cena III at next year's Wrestlemania.
