Punk doesn't need to beat Rock at EC, remember how he kept saying "this is your rematch" they could quite easily go down the route of him not actually using his rematch clause until Mania.

I do like the idea and its better than having Rock/Cena II but the bad thing about it is it would end with Cena eventually winning by pinning Rock.

A triple threat would really liven up the main event scene for Wrestlmania. Cena/Rock II is just too damn predictable and lame. Nobody wants to see it again, aside from a few Cena marks who want Cena to get back his win off the Rock. As well as that Rock has proved to us, that he's not really good in the ring anymore and putting him in singles competition at Mania is risky. At least with Punk added, they can take the heat off Rock and not have such a depressing match.
What I mean is, I would rather see either Cena vs Rock/Punk as a one on one, then Punk or Rock in another singles match vs whoever else, maybe Brock. Spread the wealth a little bit, you know. They are draws so why not make 2 matches out of it rather than putting all your eggs in one basket. I realise I might be in the minority but I'm just not that pumped for a triple threat between these 3.

Cena/Rock/Punk makes more sense because all three of them have a history with each other, and it would be more exciting to have a triple threat, then a one on one where we know the outcome and the match could drag because Rock's not all there in the ring.

Cena in the ring with Punk and Rock at Mania in freaking NY. Expect him to get one night stand type of heat, Rock is going to get his boo's too. That's Punk's one. Hope it happens

Cena's going to win, whatever happens (unfortunately) but a triple threat would be better than "Once In A Lifetime" part two. Knowing Vince though, if they do make it a triple threat they'll have Cena pin the Rock and Punk at the same time....

It would almost be worth it just to see the reaction from the crowd.

ROCK/LESNAR/CENA makes more sense to me the 3 of them are in the same league... Punk would be somewhat like a heel underdog in this match and it feels like his participation would be forced, like throwing him there just to make the match a little different. I don't like the idea... And I'm tired of watching triple threat matches involving CENA/PUNK.

If Cena is scheduled to win I preffer to watch CENA/ROCK II ...and have Punk in a better match...against Taker or HHH.

Yeah you have a good point, a one on one might be more predictable. I'm ready to be won around on this one.

To some extent, whatever match it ends up being doesn't matter because we know whether it's a Triple Threat Match or a One on One Match, we know that Cena will be walking out as WWE Champion. That said, adding CM Punk to the match would add a big element of drama to not just the feud, but the match as well by creating a sense of uncertainty by having Punk in there continually fighting off the Rock and breaking up the pinfalls, casting doubt on the idea that Cena is the clear winner.
