Yeah, just like Taker vs HHH was horrendous right? Every single year you group of kids come out and say that Taker shouldn't be in a match at mania anymore because he is too old, he's bad in the ring now, out of shape, etc....Then every single year Taker has match of the night and match of the year candidate type matches. Get over yourselves, he can go once a year for another 2-3 years at the very least, and guess what, he'll still put on a better match than your favorite wrestler can bud.
That's exactly what is going to happen...that's why i'm not spending money..i'm rather pissed that the two biggest matches are matches i already saw last year...SMFH
I know that the scenarios I am about to say will most likely get shot down. But after watching raw, we instantly thought Brock/HHH II . Two rematches of last year in a row? I don't think so. This is Wrestlemania 29, not Wrestlemania 28 part 2. I had this idea play in my mind where it would be
Brock and The Shield w/ Heyman (as manager) vs. HHH, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. w/ Mr.Mcmahon (as manager)
I personally think that would get a lot more people into the match, and there would be some pretty big pops.
Also, if they could find someone else to wrestle on Brock's team, (most likely not CM punk or Brad Maddox) then they could put X-PAC in the match too.
Honestly, I believe all of the pieces are there, and I hope WWE considers this.

I actually thought of this and took it a step further to include Punk with Team Heyman and X-Pac on Team Vince (setting up DX) in a traditional Survivor Series match at Mania. Would really shake things up. But I understand you lose the potential Punk-Taker bout.
Yes its this obvious and tonight just killed any and I mean ANY suspicion of a Cena heel turn. Which is quite possibly the ONLY thing that could keep me watching once The Rock drops the belt at WM. (I guess they could still but I was hoping he was involved with The Shield just like I was hoping he was involved with Nexus) But alas.... WWE goes the unbelievably predictable route where its easy to guess the story and winners.
I was really hoping Cena would be like, "Fuck it, I'm just going to challenge the Undertaker". Then we could have Brock vs. Rock again, or a 3 way. Or, they might make it Rock vs. Brock vs. Cena. All 3 are on the poster lol
this is why im so fucking pissed. there are no matches aside from the taker-punk that i am looking forward to. the whole card is just a bunch of re-matches. vince is fucking pathetic
Yes and WWE"s future is bleak if they're still relying on attitude era stars to sell the big PPV's in 2013. Rock, HHH, Taker, Lesnar, and even younger guys like Cena will not be wrestling anymore in 10 years. even Jericho can't keep doing this forever, and Punk said he plans to retire sooner than we think. when exactly are they going to build new stars?
Look at how pathetically thin the roster is right now if you take away all of those names, time is going to take them away in 5-10 years. What is WWE going to do when they can't keep bringing these guys back to pop a rating or PPV buyrate? they absolutely REEK of desperation by booking the same matches from last year's WM for a quick cash-in. they seem to have no interest in still being around as a company in 10 years, they are only trying to make as much money in the short term with no care for the future.
Thats why the business is going downhill, they're doing what they think will have the most mass appeal to maximize profits, not what the fans want. But wrestling itself lost its mass appeal a decade ago.. so they're just alienating the fans that do still loyally watch. I'd be willing to bet most of the #1 demographic (18-34 males) don't want to see rematches from last year's wrestlemania.
Okay, getting bored of all these LOL WRESSLEMANIA SO OBVIOUS posts. People are already whining about who's winning the matches before any matches have officially been made yet? Give me strength.
Or if its punk/rock/cena I seriously hope PUNK wins in a swerve. For once, I just want wwe to tell cena to fuck off. The way these matches were being set up was way too obvious from the get-go
HHH obviously being mad at Bork, so he wants to retaliate, but HHH feels like his days are over and remembers how Bork beat him up good. So, HHH instead brings in Taker who he feels can woop lesnars ass, and the rest just writes itself. Bork/Taker have good history
just let the stories run their course, its about the journey not the destination. But i'll throw you a bone, bitch about Cena as much as you want. Sick of that fucking guy.
