I've been predicting the triple threat match for months, I really hope it happens so Punk can save us from that awful rematch. There's no chance in hell of Jericho (especially face Jericho) facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, he got fired by losing to Dolph Ziggler a few months ago. He's going against Ziggler again in all likelihood.

Hopefully Undertaker goes against Brock Lesnar, and then Triple H can be used to put over a young talent.

I understand the Cena situation to be honest as the company wants an all-time great passing the torch(literally and physically with the wwe title on the line) to him.

WM 3 was that actual moment and the rematch was done on NBC. Andre was actually protected as he couldn't really be an active defending champion anyways with his condition.

Hogan/Warrior 2 was actually the original plan, so that almost happened. The company felt turning Slaughter would generate more interest for some reason than Warrior(I know he wasn't drawing as expected, but he was still more over than Slaughter just look at his entrance at RR 91).

I don't get why HHH/Lesnar II has to happen at Mania though. It should just happen at EC just as Hogan/Rock II happened before Mania 19. It's a waste of Lesnar and I don't think its the best use of either guy to help draw for the event. It's not like SummerSlam drew monstrous like WM did thus being a can't miss blockbuster sequel.

The torch has been passed to Cena in 2005 when he beat JBL. So after 8 years, he still needs to get the torch? LOL.
I guess by that logic when Hulk Hogan returns, I guess CM Punk or Cena needs to pass the torch to Hogan.

if Cena beats the Rock.. they'll be 1-1 at Wrestlemania.

Just saying.

If Rock/Austin go 3 matches.... why not Cena vs. Rock Wrestlemania 30 to determine it all.

yeah im pretty pissed off with the way things seem to be shaping up. i think they really should of gone a completly different route. punk vs rock for the title at rumble, when the lights went out i was praying for it to be lesnar! costing rock the match, punk retains (none of this bullshit that happened with vince and the shield) setting up rock vs brock and punk vs undertaker in a streak vs streak match at wrestlemania. big show should have kept the title and not dropped it to del rio, ryback should of won the rumble and challeged big show at wrestlemania (obv going over, giving him the WHC title instead and keeping him away from the wwe title for a while) and have summat like cena, sheamus, orton vs the shield (with a orton wrestlemania heel turn) and ziggler vs jericho. and give HHH a year off

instead we are pretty much guaranteed rock vs cena again! obv cena is winning. (will be ok with this, if we get a cena heel turn but ive given up on that idea now)

brock vs HHH again! obv HHH is winning

and still possibly cm punk vs the undertaker but without any real threat to the streak now he has dropped the belt. so obv undertaker is winning!

although would be cool if they are just messing with us and they pull some swerve where we get cena, rock, punk triple threat obv cena is winning regardless but would be cool if they did finally have the balls to pull a cena heel turn and have him be the leader of the shield all this time costing rock & punk the match. never gonna happen tho, especially as it looks like we will be getting cena, sheamus, ryback vs the shield at the elimination chamber so unless they do summat extremly clever it will make no sense.

and maybe we get brock vs the undertaker! that would be cool. its leading to HHH-lesnar but i guess HHH could cut some sort of promo in the ring with brock on raw where he says summat like "i aint gonna be the man facing you at wrestlemania because i wasnt able to get the job done at summerslam but i know a man who can" ...GONG GONG. but wishful thinking i guess. ah well always wrestlemania 30

Let's be realistic here all people do is talk about attitude era this and attitude era that. Hell, it was even talked about initially as PG Era vs. Attitude Era the match between these two.

It was why it was seen as a dream match. I'm talking about the company seeing this as the passing of the torch of the generations. Why you think the company has been pushing this damn thing all decade with Cena calling out Rock in the media and the feud has been going on since WM 27? The reason being that the company knows in the general public Cena wasn't passed the torch from either Rock or Austin who they adored.

With saying JBL passed Cena the torch is like saying Iron Sheik passed Hogan the torch in 1984(The torch actually belonged to Backlund, but Backlund left instead of turning heel to do the torch passing) although many say it was actually Andre at WM III because he was the dominating mainstream star before Hogan's era. The way the company sees it is different.

I actually think HHH passed him the torch because that is when people knew he was being pushed for real as champion tbh at WM 22.

FYI on if Hogan comes back it will be to give him his good bye like Flair with HBK although he kind of got that in 2002 when he passed the torch to Rock although Rock and Austin took the torch from his Era long before he came back.

Passing of the championship isn't the same as passing of generational mainstream stars.
