Re: Is WrestleMania this obvious?
just let the stories run their course, its about the journey not the destination. But i'll throw you a bone, bitch about Cena as much as you want. Sick of that fucking guy.

Brock and The Shield w/ Heyman (as manager) vs. HHH, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. w/ Mr.Mcmahon (as manager)
I personally think that would get a lot more people into the match, and there would be some pretty big pops.
Also, if they could find someone else to wrestle on Brock's team, (most likely not CM punk or Brad Maddox) then they could put X-PAC in the match too.
Honestly, I believe all of the pieces are there, and I hope WWE considers this.

I actually thought of this and took it a step further to include Punk with Team Heyman and X-Pac on Team Vince (setting up DX) in a traditional Survivor Series match at Mania. Would really shake things up. But I understand you lose the potential Punk-Taker bout.

You seriously think HHH is going to let Taker get a win over bork instead of himself?

Get over yourselves, he can go once a year for another 2-3 years at the very least, and guess what, he'll still put on a better match than your favorite wrestler can bud.

Hmm. You seemed to jump the gun a little bit. The guy you quoted never came out and said Undertaker shouldn't wrestle anymore, that he's bad in the ring or even out of shape. maybe he was just stating it would be horrendous to match him up with Sheamus, which I agree with..
Also it would be a little ironic if Taker was his favorite wrestler.
EDIT: Taker is one of my favorites and I hope he keeps wrestling.

Wrestlemania 29 Slogan: "Let's Return the Favor."
Unless we get a massive swerve, we are going to get:
- John Cena defeats The Rock (c.)
- HHH (w/ McMahon) defeats Brock Lesnar
The rationale is this:
- The Rock beat John Cena @ 'Mania 28. Thus, Rock must return the favor and lose to Cena at 'Mania 29.
- Brock Lesnar beat HHH @ Summerslam 2012. Thus, Lesnar must return the favor and lose to HHH @ 'Mania 29.
What kind of nonsense is this!
Why can't there be 1 match that settles a feud. Rock beat Cena last year. That's it; end the rivalry. Rock > Cena. Move on to something else. Brock beat HHH at Summerslam. Lesnar > HHH. Move on!
Imagine if Wrestlemania 4 had Andre beating Hogan in a similar return-the-favor-match. How diluted and weakened would their Wrestlemania 3 match become?
Or what if Hogan at Wrestlemania 7 defeated Warrior in a return-the-favor-match. Their Wrestlemania 6 match loses its luster.
Or what if Hogan had beaten Rock at Wrestlemania 19 to get a return-the-favor-match.
STOP RETURNING THE FAVOR!

I'm still clinging on to hope that something happens at EC that could result in giving us Rock/Brock or Taker/Brock and a Cena heel turn, but at this point i think having a 3 way with Pink and Rachel MacAdams is more realistic

Taker's streak is a massive selling point these days. He'll have a match.
The thing that scares me is Cena's "Year of redemption". He's gonna be more unbeatable, more in our faces and more annoying. My theory is he could feasibly go unbeaten all year, leading to a match with Taker at WM 30.

It's funny, cause Hogan and Andre did fight at Wrestlemania 3...but it was a draw.
I see you point, I too, am against those matches listed above. But, I'll probs really enjoy them when they happen.
We've seen Punk vs Taker before. Do we want to see that again?

Two year "Rematches" at WrestleMania - Annoying or not?
Wrestlemania 25 - Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
Wrestlemania 26 - Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
Wrestlemania 27 - Triple H vs. The Undertaker
Wrestlemania 28 - Triple H vs. The Undertaker
Wrestlemania 28 - John Cena vs. The Rock (Dubbed "once in a lifetime")
Wrestlemania 29 - John Cena vs. The Rock (?)
These double matches are really starting to piss me off. I want to see things at Wrestlemania that I haven't seen before, something unique and spectacular. These just seem like a big waste of space for me on honestly and also a waste of time. The Rock won't be here too much longer as he is getting up there in age, The Undertaker is up there in age as well, and facing two people at wrestlemania in four years? He could have battled Cena, Jericho, or anyone else to change it up but it just seems like they are doing too many "Wrestlemania Rematches"
What are your opinions on this?
