If you didn't know already, The Rock's promo last night was a homage to Dusty Rhodes and his Hard Times promo. Check the link below for the Rhodes Promo.

Now I'd like to think of it as a homage and not a rip off.. Rock used some direct lines not to meantion the obvious overall point of the promo.

I liked the Rock's version though it seemed a little rushed. The Rhodes promo is obviously better and remains to this day one of the best if not the best promos of all time.

What did you guys think of the Rock's promo last night?

Worst promo he's cut since his 2011 return. It didnt help that he was so fucking obviously reading it from something to his left.

I loved it. Very passionate and inspirational.

Rock's promo was alright too.

He sounded like he was rambling on, which isn't a good thing after Cena's "EPIC" promo last monday

I found it very moving and the part about his mother's cancer clearly sadden him you could see the pain in his eyes. I love all his promos

It was good content, but The Rock was rushing through that thing. Entirely too fast, didn't take time to catch his breath, and he sounded like he was rambling a bit. Not a horrible promo, not a good promo, and certainly his worst since coming back in 2011. 6/10
