Now this is not meant to be an anti-rock or anti-cena thread so please dont turn it into one....This is just an observation that came to my mind when Cena won the rumble last night...

Cena appeared on WWE program mid-summer of 2002 and since then Cena have pretty much had a (for lack of a better term) monopoly on Wrestlemania:

Lets got through the years:

2003 - Appears on Sunday Night Heat with a rapping promo against cardboard cut outs of I think Eminem and Jay-Z
2004 - Big Show vs Cena - US title
2005 - JBL vs Cena - WWE title
2006 - HHH vs Cena - WWE title
2007 - HBK vs Cena - WWE title
2008 - HHH vs Orton vs Cena - WWE title
2009 - Edge vs Show vs Cena - WH title
2010 - Batista vs Cena - WWE title
2011 - Miz vs Cena - WWE title
2012 - Rock vs Cena - no title but the main event
2013 - Rock vs Cena - WWE title

this years WM will be the 10th WM since Cena has entered this company and the only non-title match that he has had ended up being the main event anyway...

Like I said this isnt meant to be an anti-cena thread....WWE has wondered why there hasnt been another big star like Cena over the past couple of years...Well this could be exhibit A on why...

It's cause :cena2 sells merch and is over as fuck, and does good publicity for the company. Blame the rest of the vanilla midget wrestlers who can't get over by themselves :vince2

^^^ not true....take last year for example with Sheamus vs D-bryan. WWE had a great chance to help them both at in a WHC match at WM. Sheamus was starting to work as a face and Bryan was insanely over at the time and what does WWE do? They book them in a 18 second squash match at the start of the show...

And expect Cena to main event at least 5 more straight Wrestlemanias.
As long as kids are buying his merchandise, Vince won't care.
