Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

I personally loved when the crowd chanted for CM Punk, it was unusual (coz of him being a heel), but i really enjoyed the way they treated Punk.
For me the crowd was at some points of the night 10 out of 10 and in some points very lame, i would give them a total score of 7/10.

Thankful for CM Punk making me watching WWE again.
6/27/11 is same important as 6/23/96

A legend never dies: June 18, 1962 - June 13, 2009

Not removing until:
[] Shelton Benjamin makes a comeback
[] Charlie Haas makes a comeback
[] Kenny Dykstra makes a comeback
[] Raw makes again a 6.5 or even a higher rating
[] John Morrison becomes WWE champion
[] CM Punk wins Royal Rumble
[] CM Punk and Daniel Bryan main eventing Wrestlemania in an iron man match (and so creating epic stuff as e.g. misawa and kawada did in their matches)
[] WWE pays tribute to Mitsuharu Misawa

Punk holding the title for 434 days was epic. it was the greatest reign in the history of wrestling (but not the way the reign ended):
4-3-4
4-3-4
4-3-4

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

The Rumble match reactions and pops were awesome. I assume they got tired/exhausted/didn't know who to cheer for during the WWE title match.

Thumbs Up.

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

The crowd wasn't that bad, but the Royal Rumble match should ALWAYS be the main event for me.

That killed the crowd.

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

I think Cena winning pretty much killed the crowd.

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

I thought the crowd were fantastic for the most part. Well, they were fantastic for the Rumble match itself. I think Rock/Punk suffered a bit from coming on after it tbh. Nothing major though. Fans just seemed to have the sting taken out of them a bit but they were still into it.

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

The dueling chants in the Punk/Rock match were amazing. Punk splitting the crowd against The Rock is a sign that times are changing. Cena would kill to get a reaction like that going against Rocky

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

One of the best crowds I've heard for a while. That pop for Jericho was just immense.

Re: Royal Rumble Crowd

Semi-decent at best, bit of a indy smarky mcsmarkus and marky mix, which is what you get in places like Arizona.

For The Rock and Punk match, weren't as lively as i'd expect, as people have said, it unfortunately followed the rumble. But I suppose Vince wanted Rock to have a big moment so it is in a way expected.
