CM Punk loses to the Rock in his match before the Rumble.

Has the Shield beat the shit out of Bo Dallas so Punk can take his Rumble spot (which just so happens to be 30).

Punk comes in and wins the Rumble setting up Rock v Punk at Mania for the strap.

During Punk and Rock's match, Cena, who has just won the Rumble, comes out and AA's Rock when the Ref is down. Punk pins Rock and wins only for Cena to announce he's the leader of the Shield so Punk is stripped of the title. Vince comes out and raises Cena's hand, to set up Rock vs Cena at Mania, where Cena goes on and wins to become the new corporate champion and claim he will be a better one than the Rock.

Would be awesome if it ended up with Rock beating Punk (hear me out) becoming champ only for Austin to win the rumble with Punk regaining the belt at Elimination chamber with the feud cultimating in a Three way dance for the title at Wrestle-Mania with the next yeat being set for Austin vs Punk with Austin being able to work a one on one match more easily.

A couple days ago I had the exact same feeling. I knew I wasn't the only one. I think Steve Austin is going to return to the Royal Rumble and win it, then challange Punk to the title at Wrestlemania.

I think Punk will beat the Rock tonight, but fans of the Rock will still be happy because Steve Austin is back. Otherwise if Rock loses that might be a huge let down for some people without some other amazing things happening. A lot of people think Rock is going to win then face Cena at wrestlemania but to me that seems to obvious. Steve Austin has been under the radar for awhile and it seems like a perfect time to bring him back.

Austin shouldn't come back, it does no good for him or Punk. It's just another match like Punk vs Undertaker where they get shit on by having to go 2nd or 3rd from the top while Rock and Cena gets all the attention and main events again for no good reason. Leave him out of this debacle of a WrestleMania.
