I love and I miss Edge, but he was a chickenshit heel so he beating the Undertaker would've been an enormous dissapoint.

I have heard he did not want to go over. I believe alot of they guys have said no, Undertaker deserves the streak for everything he has done for the business.

Edge was great in his day and its sad his career was cut short due to injury but the Taker is the greatest ever in professional wrestling.

Edge was not really undefeated before the Undertaker match in my book. He had already lost the WrestleMania 23 Money in the Bank match to Mr. Kennedy.

It seems to me that the only reason the streak still exists is because the WWE wants it to and the opponents don't want to break it. Takers probably trying to give it away every year, but can't get rid of it. I always hear stories of guys turning down breakin it. Poor Taker probably wanted to retire 5 years ago, and that's the only thing holding him back lol.
