Re: Royal Rumble is Sunday - which match are you most looking forward to?
Well, the Rumble match might give us a major hint into who is winning the Punk/Rock match.
If Cena wins, then Punk is losing the match with Rock. If someone like Ziggler, Orton or Ryback wins, then it's a sign Punk may retain and one of them challenges Del Rio for that belt instead. In terms of setting up who challenges for the belt, then the Rumble winner is likely someone who can face The Rock, Del Rio, or Ziggler. That's only a few people. I can see Orton winning and a double turn after Ziggler cashes in at WM. Which would be long term good for both of them IMO.
Punk needs to retain the belt and face the Undertaker with the belt. It will wreck that feud if he doesn't have the strap. Then after he just abandons it, you establish a summer tournament Wrestlemania IV style that keeps fans semi interested all throughout the summer, and you have something established for the summer months. Fuck The Rock and John Cena, nobody gives a shit if they even fight, much less if Cena wins the belt back. And while Brock fighting anyone mighe be cool, it looks like he's facing Triple H, so fuck that feud too since it's established.
