Re: The Biggest Superstar in history of WrestleMania?

Clearly the answer is Shawn Michaels, that's why they call him Mr. Wrestlemania.

Give me another superstar that can LOSE more than half of his WrestleMania matches and still be known to put on the best show of the night.

The Rock. He beat Hogan, Austin and Cena at 'Mania.

Re: The Biggest Superstar in history of WrestleMania?

WrestleMania was possible because of Hulkamania. I think that says it all right there. The words were interchangeable when Hulkamania ran wild in the 80's. Then it ran wild in this millennium against The Rock at WM 18.

That spanned two decades just as Taker's winning streak. He had more signature moments at the event too.

Can't stand Hogan,but it's kinda obvious..

1)Hogan

And then depends on how you look at things - Taker has a bigger longevity while Shawn had the better matches.

I'll take HBK, but most would probably pick Taker, because of the strike.

When I think of Wrestlemania, Hulk Hogan is first person that comes to mind.
Doesn't matter if Cena headlines 10 more Wrestlemania, Hogan will always be remembered as the biggest Wrestlemania star ever.

Nothing Undertaker has done will come close to what Hogan has done.

Then why even make the fucking thread? So you can dump on The Undertaker yet again? Hey, how come Austin's match with HBK isn't considered as quality as Undertaker and HBK's? Oh right - Taker is a far superior in ring worker.
Hogan is the correct answer here, but Undertaker is #2.

Re: The Biggest Superstar in history of WrestleMania?

Hulk Hogan is the top man of Mania, hes headlined more Manias than Steve and Rocky combined. Not even close

Re: The Biggest Superstar in history of WrestleMania?

Change the thread title to "The Second Biggest Superstar in history of Wrestlemania"

Take Hogan off the Poll cause hes clearly number 1 and there's no argument. Taker is winning this poll because of IWC hogan hate and that younger fans just don't know any better. This isn't a "better match" poll, it's biggest mania superstar. Hogan's mania moments trounce everyone else, even Austin and The Rock who collectively were on top for a shorter amount of time. I just watched Rock vs Hogan and my lord i don't think I heard a crowd roar during a match like Toronto did when hogan began to "hulk up" That was all based on pure nostalgia. Hogan IS Wrestlemania.

Taker or HBK for 2 - 3

Austin, Savage, Warrior, Cena, The Rock, HHH all fill out the top 10.
