Shield break up at Rumble?
Hear me out on this. Since their involvement in Punk's match is likely not to happen that leaves them to the Rumble match itself. What if this is a creative way to allow them to go their own way? Think about it. The Royal Rumble match is a shot for 30 superstars to get to main event WM for the WWE title. Who wouldn't be more intrigued to drop their agenda, and achieve stardom? Are they just going to keep running in on matches, and attacking "face" stars? They don't have point, but breaking them up could provide their meaning.
Perhaps the master of the mic Dean Ambrose tells it like it is, and gives us all the scoop. Basically says they came to the WWE because they knew they were ready, and have been waiting down "rookie" territory rasslin'. Ambrose explains that Reigns is part of a wrestling lineage that is respected, and sacred to all of this business. Ambrose says that Reigns is carrying a tradition greater than the Monday Night Wars, and greater than Hulkamania, or the Attitude Era.
Ambrose then begins with Rollins. Dean says that Rollins is the guy every one of us wants to be. Good with the ladies charming smile, and lean body. Ambrose says that Rollins had nothing left to down in NXT, and he has been busting his for seven hard years just to get to this moment. Dean explains that Rollins is a.......threat! He lunges for Rollins sending him to the outside. He pulls out a pair of brass knuckles, and knocks out Roman Reigns. We then see Dean go outside the ring after Seth. He beats him repeatedly with the brass knuckles. There is blood everywhere, and people are shocked. Ambrose has snapped.
He pulls out a pair of handcuffs for both men, he then cuffs them both outside the ring by the turnbuckle. Ambrose repeatedly beats both men with a chair. Punching both men with his brass knuckles to their mid section. He yells, and screams at both men. Dean slowly, and calmly enters the ring as if nothing ever happened. Dean says where did I leave off? He walks around the ring asking fans where did he leave off, and wants to know if anyone can answer that question for him. There is a female in the audience waving her hands wildly as if she knows the answer.
Ambrose is intrigued. He has the young lady to come in to the ring. The lady entering the ring is Paige from NXT. She tells Dean that she is his biggest fan, and is so glad he invited her here tonight at the Royal Rumble. Dean tells her to take that chair he used, and beat them both while he cuts this next promo. Refs come down holding Paige back while Ambrose says the following. Dean says that he didn't come to the WWE to interfere in matches. He said he came to make an impact. He looks over at his former friends, and tells them that he never gave them his word. Dean says that success is based on what you do, not what others do with you. Tonight, he says is his night, and he guarantees a Royal Rumble victory, and then he says he will beat the Best In the World at WM 29 because he knows The Rock can't beat CM Punk.
Dean begins to leave, and then Vince McMahon comes out. He explains to Ambrose that he won't be leaving his mess at the expense of Vince's PPV. He tells Dean that he needs to take those two men out of those hand cuffs, or he will have him arrested. Dean tells Vince that he has the key, and he won't undo those hand cuffs unless Vince gives him a spot in the Royal Rumble. Vince asks Dean how does he know he has any open spots? Ambrose says a little birdie told him that there is one more spot, and if he cared about his program he would give him the spot. Vince agrees, but Dean tells him that he wants security to escort each one out individually, and undo the cuffs one person at a time. Vince once again agrees.
Dean watches as both men are individually taken away by WWE security. Mr.McMahon then tells Dean that this worked out well because he is the first participant in the Royal Rumble. Ziggler is the next, and we have a match between two of possibly the best sellers in the game today for about 2 minutes. I would have Dean set the record for the 21st century in time spent in the Royal Rumble match breaking Mysterio's record. I think Dean could definitely pull it off, and this would be a solid rub for him lasting that long. As you know by now I can't stand the Shield, and Dean is the true star of the Shield while the other two are just there with him. Give him the ball, and let him run.
