Re: Greatest Royal Rumble superstar?

Austin's won 3, so it has to be him. Kane will never win one, which is a shame. Always a good participant though.

Re: Greatest Royal Rumble superstar?

best single rumble - Flair 1992, amplified by Heenan's commentary. "That's not fair to Flair!"

multiple Royal Rumbles - Austin. "Won" it in 1997 by throwing out Hart after sneaking back in; won it officially in 1998; had the great 1999 Rumble w/ McMahon w/ the memorable ending; won 2001 rumble. Had the 2002 rumble where he was eliminating guys twice because he had extra time on his hands. That's quite a tear.

Re: Greatest Royal Rumble superstar?

Kane has most eliminations(I think he will break Shawn's record)

Kane eliminated Santino in 1.9 seconds

Kane has participated in 13 consecutive Royal Rumbles

Kane eliminated 11 people in one Royal Rumble

He may not have won even one RR but I think he maybe the Greatest RR star ever.I personally love his performances in RR's

Can the Moderator replace Taker and HHH with Rey Mysterio and Ric Flair?

Re: Greatest Royal Rumble superstar?

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Kane.

Stone Cold Steve Austin - Austin to this date is still the man with the most wins in the Rumble (3), he is the second man to accomplish the back-to-back Rumble wins. While Austin might not have won from #1 his lowest number was 5, which is still respectable. But as far as Royal Rumble wins, he is the guy at the top of the mountain.

Shawn Michaels - Shawn might only have 2 wins in the Rumble, but despite that, one of those wins came from the very first spot in the Rumble, he is only one of two men to accomplish that feat. On top of that, he was the second man to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles. While on top of this, holding the record for eliminations in the match.

Kane - No Rumble, list would be complete without this guy, tossing people left and right out of the ring and a record for most eliminations that rivals that of Shawn's. He might not win a Rumble match, but at the very least he deserves to surpass the elimination record for his efforts.

It's too tough a choice for me honestly.

Hogan would be there as well, being the very first man to win back-to-back Rumbles. Chris Benoit has a mention for being the 2nd man win win the Rumble from #1.

Re: Greatest Royal Rumble superstar?

Austin has 3 wins, HBK 2 and Kane the record on eliminations in a Rumble.

Well, HBK was in 12, but Kane has been in 15 Rumbles, soon to be 16. I guess I'd pick him. If HBK is Mr Wrestlemania, then he must be Mr Royal Rumble. I hope he tosses 6 or 7 people. Maybe chokeslam a guy right out of the ring. I really hope he gets a huge pop when he enters too, just to be acknowledged as a Rumble great.

Even though Austin was only in 6 Rumbles, the guy has 36 eliminations. That's crazy. But I wouldn't pick him as the best Rumble entrant ever just due to limited appearances.
