I hope John Cena enters at number 1.

The Royal Rumble SHOULD be about creating new main event talent.
Yeah, they tried that with Alberto Del Rio and everybody hated it. PASS.

I remember last year when Sheamus was clearly winning, clear as crystal, they changed the focus to Jericho at the last minute to throw everyone off, everyone bought into the idea that Jericho was a lock, and then low and behold, Sheamus won just like you would've seen coming if you had paid any attention to the product in the previous months where he just killed people week after week after week after week. I'm not falling for that again, Ryback is winning.

Punk will lose to The Rock, he'll get a 1 on 1 rematch at the Chamber PPV, he'll lose, John Cena will win the Chamber for a title shot and that will set up Rock and Cena.
Sheamus was the Royal Rumble add last year and won, luck of the irish fella.

Of course he is the focus of the Royal Rumble match. How is that in any way a shock to anyone? Cena is top guy in WWE. And he had a terrible 2012. Winning the Rumble is his way to get back on track - to put him back on the road to becoming WWE Champion again and finally defeating Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And it was always going to be this way. Everyone has suspected that it would be this way since WrestleMania last year. So why is everyone so surprised that it's happening this way?

Personally, I'm not even a huge Cena fan, and I would rather Cena win the Rumble than someone that supposedly "needs" the Rumble win. At least when Cena wins, we'll know for sure that the Royal Rumble winner is going to go to the main event (the real main event) of WrestleMania and win the WWE Championship in the biggest match of the night. That hasn't been done since WrestleMania 21 (or XIX if you count the fact that Benoit and Batista won the WHC at XX and 21). If anyone other than John Cena wins it, they'll probably open the show, just as Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus have done the past two years. What a waste.

Cena wins Rumble. Rock wins title. Rock/Cena II. Cena wins. Cena is WWE Champion.

The Undertaker winning the title scenario can be easily rectified.

Next night on Raw Punk calls Taker out asking for his rematch there and then. Taker comes out and refuses so Punk calls The Shield down to attack Taker. They give him a good going over and lay him out in the middle of the ring.

Music hits

It's Mr Money In The Bank Dolph Ziggler who cashes in and takes the title away allowing Mark to go away for another year and prepare for next years Mania.

If the RR winner is in the main event at WM then its a forehone conclusion that it has to be Cena, so they can do Cena vs Rock 2 for the title, with Cena winning, getting his win back against the Rock for putting him over at the last WM. The unfortunate fact is WWE is a business and they make decisions based on what will make the most profit, WM is the biggest show of the year so they want to maximize buys and Rock vs Cena 2 for the title is the only option.

And then Cena will probably be champ for most of 2013. The only thing that could make that okay is if he ends up turning heel..but sadly I don't see that happening. 2013 is looking to be the year a lot of people take some time off from watching wrestling.

I can see Cena winning the Rumble. Rock winning the title and CM Punk demanding a rematch making it up a triple threat match at WM. Which IMO would be a pretty good match, much better than Cena/Rock II.
