Hogan Vs. Sid - The match was going to be poor anyway, but ending it in a disqualification was beyond retarded.

Hogan Vs. Yokozuna - Bret should've retained, period.

Bigelow Vs. Taylor - A football player won the main event of Wrestlemania. Really?

Undertaker Vs. Sid - This is a guilty pleasure of mine actually, but it shouldn't have been for the title. Undertaker should've won the Rumble if he was going to main event WM anyway.

Jericho Vs. Helmsley - The match was actually good, but soooo obvious outcome just killed it. The dead crowd was the nail in the coffin.

Lesnar Vs. Goldberg - We could've had a good/decent power match if the smarky NY crowd showed a little respect instead of being attention whores.

Layfield Vs. Cena - Because JBL got in 98% offense then Cena just beats him with the FU. WTF?

Helmsley Vs. Orton - Going on last instead of Michaels Vs. Undertaker was a big mistake. No run-ins and no heel turns of any sort didn't help. And Hunter retaining was just icing on the shit cake.

Cena Vs. Miz - Having The fucking Miz main event Wrestlemania was an instant FAIL.

The bold is my choice of all time. For all that hype, they didn't deliver AND the wrong man won!

Goldberg-Lesnar, what a slap in the face to everyone who paid to watch that.

The most disappointing match of all time is - Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

The most disappointing match that was hyped up is probably - Goldberg vs Lesnar

A lot of people mention Cena vs Rock as the biggest disappointment, but I beg to differ.

I don't get the expectations considering there was only one man of worth in that feud and that was The Rock.

Cena is nothing.

Nothing.

He is not a legend.
He is not an icon.
He is the biggest failure this company have ever tried to symbolize.

They kept everyone down for years just to make him look good and still failed. He gets countless title shots, after title shots based purely on the favoritism of Vince.

I'm not a fan of Cena, but calling him the biggest failure of the company is harsh, very harsh. He had many excellent matches, many of them underrated. His match with Umaga as an exzample was one of the Royal Rumble best matches in history. As for his wrestlemania matches he had very good matches there, too, with HBK, HHH, even the one with Dwayne wsa enjoyable.

For those asking what people expected from Kane/Taker at WM 20, what exactly were people expecting from Lesnar/Goldberg? The only way that match could've come close to being decent, was if Lesnar carried it, but that was never going to happen.

As for mine, I feel it's JBL/Mysterio. I figured WWE would allow them to put on a good showing, not the under one minute job-out that it was. I felt they could've worked well on that stage.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 25 immediately springs to mind. I very much enjoyed the build up to the match, it was hyped no end, people expected NODQ, run in's from Legacy, run in's from the McMahons, twists and turns etc and what we got was...an incredibly boring singles match with very little drama which just didn't fit with the build.

To make that match last when you'd already had Undertaker vs. HBK in one of the greatest matches ever was just stupid.

Probably Goldberg Vs. Lesnar. I am not a huge fan of either guy as far as their work rate goes, but as attractions, they can be presented in an exciting way. Lesnar Vs. Goldberg is one of those matches that when you pitch it to me, I go "Whoa! I could book that one move for move"

And with Austin as referee it allows for anything because he's not going to DQ anybody. This was something they did not take advantage of.

I pictured a spot where Goldberg would spear Lesnar through the security wall after a huge brawl outside the ring. I pictured a spot where Lesnar would F-5 Goldberg and then tease the Shooting Star Press again. Not have him do it (we don't want Lesnar to almost kill himself again) but have that moment where he looks at the turnbuckle and make sure the announcers make the call (it was JR so, yeah he'd get it) and it would connect in the crowd's mind as well. And then of course Godlberg powerslams him off the top. I also would have tried to bring in some of Goldberg's traditional moves from WCW to spice it up a bit, like his rolling leg lock move. Maybe also work in Lesnar's F-5 into the ring post. Basically just try to make the match wild & full of power displays from both guys.

Actually, an example of what this match should have probably been: Go back and watch Goldberg Vs. Scott Steiner from Fall Brawl 2000. That was more indicative of what you would expect from putting two power guys like that in the ring together.

But no. It leaked that Lesnar was leaving and we already knew Goldberg was leaving, so the fans in attendance just started shitting on it from the start and neither guy seemed to give a fuck about putting a good match on their way out anyway. And neither guy knew how to use the heat to their advantage. If I were Lesnar, I would have let the chants go for a few seconds then jumped outside the ring, grabbed the mic and said "screw you people, I'm bigger than this damn company" or something like that just to keep the heat on the match rather than on outside stuff.

But alas, it was a disaster. At the time, I thought it was the worst Mania match in history, but then Vince Vs. Bret at 26 and Cole Vs. Lawler from 27 happened. Ick.

Goldberg vs Lesnar, but at the same time the fans gave them no chance. I don't think the match failed because the two wrestlers didn't try. For years, Goldberg has said he wanted to put on a great performance, but the fans didn't let him or Lesnar do it.

I was disappointed with Randy Orton vs HHH at Wrestlemania 25. The buildup was really good, but no one remembers it anymore. All people remember from that feud is that their match flopped. The crowd was silent during the whole match, and the ending lacked any twists and surprises.

Overall, their match was something worth seeing on RAW, Smackdown, or a B-level PPV; it wasn't Wrestlemania worthy.

Danielson/Sheamus WM 28.

I was expecting them to have a classic and then they gave them 18 seconds. Embarassing. I was depressed for the next hour and had to take a walk around the stadium. Luckily HHH/Taker cheered me up.
