OP, i disagree. Triple-H/Taker stole the show at WM 27, in fact without that match WM 27 was just another episode of Raw. Also Rock/Cena was much better than anyone could have expected for Rock's first singles match in 8 years.

honestly in recent memory Sheamus/Bryan. TWICE. At WM 27 i was looking forward to their match, i always thought it was a good pairing that could have put on some good moves and a great WM opener, but they were not even on the card. Then WM 28 it ends up being the WHC match, and it ends in 18 seconds. Talk about injustice.

Let's see, a few off the top of my head:

HHH/Orton (25), not sure wtf happened there.

Taker/Kane (20), certainly didn't measure up to their first WM match in any way.

Bret/Backlund (11), expected a good I Quit match, even Bret said he hated this match.

HHH/Rock/Show/Foley (16), should have been a singles match with HHH and Rock anyway.

Whatever match I decide on is going to be a Taker streak match. As much as we all love the mystique and aura of the streak, let's face it: a lot of those matches fucking suck. Hard. Like Taker vs Big show and Albert? Ugh. Taker vs Giant Gonzalez (whatever his WWE name was)? Ugh. Taker vs Sid? Shit. Diesel? Big Bossman? These are not only terrible matches on their own but when compared to the general feeling towards an Undertake mania match these went far beyond underwhelming and simply sucked big time.
