Hope it's true. Anything that keeps Punk off the main event is great. And Rock/Lesnar wont happen for the title unfortunately.

I've always been of the opinion that Cena would face Rock at WrestleMania XXIX and win the title from him. It just makes sense. WWE is going to want Cena to get his win back. Personally, I think the better way to go would be Punk defending against Rock and Cena in a Triple Threat, with Lesnar challenging Undertaker, but the more I think about it, the more I can't shake the feeling that we're getting the card everyone predicts. Rock/Cena II, HHH/Lesnar II and Taker/Punk.

WWE Title
ROCK vs LESNAR vs CENA (as the official poster suggests)
TAKER vs PUNK
DX(HHH and other 2) vs SHIELD (They had a DX reunion at NXT)

Well hopefully the crowds start chanting TNA or this is boring during the Cena vs. Rock match at WM 29. There needs to be some way of entraining the idea into Vince Mcmahon's head that no one give a damn as to what you want, it's what the fans want and it's not seeing the same damn stuff from a year ago. Once is good enough.

I could get behind this. I'm just of the opinion that Punk's title reign needs to end at WrestleMania, so that's why I'd like to see him in the main event defending against Rock and Cena, with Lesnar challenging Undertaker. But I like your concept. It's certainly a lot fresher than what we'll probably end up seeing. |
