Thank god for that.

I'd prefer Edge screen-time over the 'not as attractive as she used to be-Trish' anyway.
That would be hilarious and awkward as hell. Kinda want to see it now.

It wont make a difference....at all. And considering you all were probably gonna buy the DVD when it came out, it makes this whole thing even more ridiculous.

But whatever, he got what he wanted.
There is a difference, actually. Things like these are solely about the principle. WWE gets to air the highlights of the ceremony -- what they believe to be the most important parts -- and they were going to put an outsider that is completely meaningless to this industry on it, over someone who would be headlining if it was any other class because of what he's done for wrestling. Vince thinks publicity is more important than honouring the people that made his company and he couldn't be farther from the truth.

Good to know, atleast now the bitching would stop. Enjoy the USA hatchet job for 6 mins. Hope it is worth all the complaining.

Far from it. Trump drew the biggest mania buyrate in WWE history.

I'm sure it was more of WWE's internal reaction to Foley being cut off that changed this rather than fan outcry.

Stevie Ray to induct Booker T into WWE Hall of Fame

As revealed in a Tout recorded at WrestleMania Axxess Thursday night, Booker T will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his brother and former tag team partner, Stevie Ray, in Madison Square Garden.

“To have my brother induct me is the only way it should be,” an emotional Booker told WWE.com moments after the announcement. “I followed my brother around when I was a little bitty kid. I wanted to be like him.”

Breaking into sports-entertainment together as The Huffman Brothers, the siblings got their big break in World Championship Wrestling in 1993, under the memorable name of Harlem Heat. Introduced as Kane and Kole, Booker T and Stevie Ray found their stride the following year when they changed their names, linked up with the great Sherri Martel and won their first WCW Tag Team Championships. By 1999, when the brothers competed as a duo for the last time, they had beaten teams like The Steiners and Sting & Lex Luger to claim the titles on 10 separate occasions — a WCW record that no other duo came close to touching.

“All those years on the road, knowing I had backup gave me what I needed to go out and perform at the highest level I possibly could,” the former World Heavyweight Champion and SmackDown’s current General Manager said. “My brother was always my biggest supporter.”

Stevie Ray and Booker T were at odds when WCW was purchased by WWE in 2001, and Stevie never joined his brother in WWE. Since that time, sports-entertainment fans have been anxiously anticipating a Harlem Heat reunion. They will finally get it on Saturday, April 6, when the most successful team in WCW history gets back together for one very special night.

As the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer said, “This may be the one last chance people get to see Booker T and Stevie Ray together on stage."
No surprise for me really. Stevie Ray is the best choice to induct his brother and HARLEM HEAT tag team partner into the HOF.

Edge inducting Lita would be glorious mostly for the Melina/Sunny-esque breakdown Beth would have.

I think it's fair to say both.

LOL @ Someone saying Trump is irrelevant to WWE.

Happy for Foley.

How is that meaningless to the industry? What makes the stars like Brock/Rock/Goldberg special then?

Re: Official WWE Hall Of Fame Discussion Thread

They provide an example that can be followed. Hogan proved that getting a big guy with a signature moveset that rarely loses, and placing him at the top of your company, makes you big money. That's been seen and repeated since and it's something that every promotion has taken notice of. Trump proved that if you have the money to shell out for getting one of the richest businessmen on the planet involved in an angle (no one but Vince does) it will, of course, make you big money. A staple company face versus a one-off deal. He's certainly not irrelevant to the WWE as a company, but in terms of industry-wide impact I'm not seeing it.

While I do think Lita's improved by leaps and bounds since she left WWE, I have to say I agree.

Don't think Lita or Edge would have a problem with this, considering they were still friendly and hanging out like it was old times after he retired. This changed abruptly once he started dating Beth.

I think that's where you're real awkward problem would lie.

Yea, Pretty much this. If you've ever followed Beth on Twitter she doesn't come across as the most stable girlfriend in the world.

It would be hilarious
