It's great that Trish is going in, but just sucks that she's going in now. I thought WWE might have held off on inducting her until WM happens in Toronto(advertising Trish at HOF would sell out event in a few minutes),but guess this now means WM won't be happening in Toronto anytime soon.

I marked like crazy when they announced Trish! I wish I could attend this event. It's going to be such a special night. The greatest WWE diva of all time is going in the HOF!

but yea it would've been nice in Toronto. I am glad to see her go in while she still looks like "Trish" it would be weird to see her go in when she's old and grey, and not as momentous.

But it's Toronto(her hometown) so yes it would. She's still real big in Toronto. I know many people who don't know much(if anything) about wrestling, but they all know who Trish Stratus is. Much more than someone like Bret Hart or even Edge.

She barely got a pop when she hosted it last time. I'm not doubting her name and appeal, I'm doubting she has drawing power on that level. Knowing of someone is one thing, being willing to buy a ticket is a whole other story.
I could see the old school fans coming in, but I don't think she'd have the drawing power of a headliner. I dunno, maybe I"m wrong I just have a hard time seeing it. I couldn't believe how anemic the crowd was about her last time they brought her around.

About two years ago when she returned against Laycool, and her guest host spot when RAW was in Canada. You'd think those idiots had amnesia the way they reacted or didn't react to Trish.
