Re: YOUR personal highlight from the Rumble -

I thought the best part of the whole show were the 30 second backstage promo spots before the Royal Rumble. WWE usually seem to forget that the wrestlers each have characters & the writer's write the same shit for everybody. Those little promos felt very old school to me though & like they were ad-libbed by the talent. It did a good job of showing how different the characters really are, which just being on screen hasn't managed to do for years.

Jericho probably. Shocked me, that's it. Sin Cara was the biggest let down- expecting Ryback / Henry / Lesnar at 29/30.

Re: YOUR personal highlight from the Rumble -

Jericho returning was definitely the highlight of the night. Never expected him to return.

Kofi's spot was funny... Also DB and Kane eliminations was funny.

Jericho return, marked like an 8 year old.

Special mentioned to reporter Big E Langston.

Re: YOUR personal highlight from the Rumble -

Hearing The Godfather's music. Was NOT expecting that. Thought we'd see the Escort Train but was wasted for a pointless elimination.

I was surprised at how much I marked for Jericho though, considering he's not really been gone that long and I've been indifferent to him.

Amusing post. Too bad only you don't see the problem here.

Re: YOUR personal highlight from the Rumble -

Kofi's follow up stunt this year, every step of the way I worried he was gonna botch on live TV, I thought Tensai would fuck up, I worried the announce desk was a collapsible one and wouldn't hold his weight, especially when he was picking up the chair (do they flip a switch to make it collapsible or something?), or that he was supposed to try to jump from desk to ring. It was great to see him finish it even if it was delaying the inevitable.
