I look forward to a big name return but I won't be devastated if we don't get it. I'd love to see The Shield in there for sure. I'm also interested in the interplay between Cena, Orton, Seamus, Ryback, Bryan, Kane, Sandow, Rhodes etc. Lots of people in there that I have an interest in or at the very least think they can provide some cool moments. So yeah, I'm feeling somewhat optimistic this time around.

BORK winning though? Fuck. Talk about marking out lol.
Indeed here is what i expect

1.Ziggler being in there for 50+ mins (being in the last 4)
2.Ryback Eliminating 8 people
3.Orton/Sheamus eliminating eachother or something to set up a feud
4.Cena Eliminating Ziggler
5.A Few returns EG billy gunn,Road Dog,Henry,Swagger ect
6.Shield Dominating The Rumble but Ryback,Sheamus,Miz eliminating them
7. Kane Beating Shawns Record then DB Eliminating him and chanting yes yes yes then gets himself eliminated then shouting NO NO NO
8.Cena Winning

Anyone thought of the possibility of the Shield tearing the Rumble apart without being in it? Them jumping over the barricades and throwing people out.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

It must be the return of Batista, Swagger, Morrison, Jericho, or someone else of status for it to be a good rumble.

I want to see Jericho vs. Taker @ Mania, dammit, Vince ... You know what to do. Have one of them win, and the other win at Chamber.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

The Rumble this year just has a buzz for me. More excited for this Rumble then I have been for one in a while. We got so many established characters going in to the Rumble the crowd can connect with this year as compared to years before that it's crazy. When 3MB will make their entrance and eventually get eliminated in a comedic spot, I'll love it and I'll find it funny just because they have characters now and are actually entertaining on WWE Television. As opposed to just sending out Heath Slater, Mahal and McIntyre with vanilla gimmicks separately. You have Wade Barrett going in this year, Antonio Cesaro whose a rising star, Bryan and Kane are over as fuck, Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes make for a GREAT team dynamic, Prime Time Players are awesome, Kofi Kingston will do some epic shit. And that's only the MIDCARD. Sheamus, Randy Orton, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, the Shield and possible Mark Henry and Christian returns will cover up for the top stars spots.

We got a JAM PACKED Rumble this year in terms of star power. I'd say the most since probably 2002 or so. Couple that up with what'll be a good Last Man Standing match between Big Show and Del Rio, and an AWESOME built up Punk/Rock match, we may be looking at one of the greatest Royal Rumble cards in history. Doubt it'll surpass 2006, but it can come close.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

Its hard to get interested in the RR match this year because when you think about it, Cena is the only one who can win the rumble. The winner is in the wrestlemania main event, name me somebody besides Cena, Punk and Rock on the roster right now that could main event Wrestlemania in 2 months? WWE needs to draw as much money as possible with that main event, and Cena is the only person in the rumble who can draw money so its a no brainer.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

There is currently 15 confirmed entries to the Rumble this year:

John Cena
Randy Orton
Sheamus
Dolph Ziggler
Heath Slater
Jinder Mahal
Drew McIntyre
Antonio Cesaro
Wade Barrett
The Miz
Ryback
Titus O'Neil
Darren Young
Kane
Daniel Bryan

That's half of the Rumble filled up, now we just have to wait and see who the other 15 are.

I hope we see Christian and Mark Henry. And i hope we see Rikishi/Billy Gunn/Boogeyman/JBL.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

If Big Show could make it to Wrestlemania as a champion my money would be on Ryback to win it.
But now i think John Cena is the ULTIMATE favor.Let's face it.
