Well, I'm not saying that he will be in the Rumble, but it's not as if he would come out and just say "Yeah, I'm going to be in the Rumble" if he and WWE had come to some sort of an agreement. If MVP is supposed to be one of the surprise entrants, then it's probably in his best interests to keep it as a surprise. That's the whole point, right?

he still under contract with New Japan as the article stated. So unless he leaves, WWE can try all they want to get him. They can't tip MVP leaves his current job

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

Ryback winning and going after Ziggler for WHC would make sense. Ryback can eliminate all three members of the shield to end this rivalry and move on to the world title picture on SD after EC.

I am Phenomenal!

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

I would hope WWE isn't stupid enough to do Ryback vs Ziggler for the WHC at Mania. Its asking for Ryback to get the same treatment as Cena will with Rock especially against one of NY's darlings in Ziggler

CM Punk to lose the title to the Rock earlier in the night.
CM Punk enters into the Rumble, is number 29 after eliminating the rest of the contestants.
Number 30.

...

Lance Armstrong.

Re: Official Royal Rumble Match Discussion Thread

I will predict this...

If Ziggler cashes in and it goes wrong (like Show returning and hitting ADR just to DQ Ziggler), then he will win the Rumble.

No, Lance will not pass the Wellness Policy test.

Thanks to CJ

Now, that's an interesting idea that I hadn't thought of. And I would have no problem with it at all. Ziggler winning the Rumble would be huge. The only problem with this theory is that I can't see WWE having both 2012 MitB winners fail at the cash in. Especially Ziggler, who has been carrying the briefcase around for six months.
