Could be. Depends on who else they announce for it but if they continue to announce only main eventers (Cena/Orton/Sheamus so far) then most likely.

Pro-Wrestling Events Attended: Pay-Per Views: Elimination Chamber 2012, Bragging Rights 2010, WrestleMania 22, Judgment Day 2005 --- RAW: 2/20/12; 8/29/08; 4/3/06; 11/14/05 --- SMACKDOWN: 9/6/13; 7/22/11; 7/14/06; 11/18/05; 1/22/04; 9/12/02, 7/6/14 --- House Shows (RAW Brand): 1/31/03; 4/23/04 --- House Shows (SMACKDOWN Brand): 8/16/03; 12/28/12; 7/6/14 --- IMPACT: 3/21/13; 3/14/13 --- Ring Of Honor: 4/27/07; 8/25/06, --- Independent: MCW-1/26/08; 2CW-7/13/14

I'll list the big names:

British Bulldog
Ted DiBiase Sr
Ric Flair
Tito Santana
Shawn Michaels
Undertaker
Nikolai Volkoff
Jim Duggan
Roddy Piper
Jake Roberts
Jimmy Snuka
Randy Savage
Hulk Hogan
Sgt. Slaughter
Sid Justice

In all seriousness, the current roster is NOTHING compared to the 1992 roster.

1992 says hi. 2004 says hi as well.

Benoit
Legend Killer Orton
RVD
Angle
Big Show
Booker T
Kane
Thug Cena
Rhyno
Steiner
Foley
Jericho
Goldberg
even the Cat Ernest Miller and the lower tier guys owned anything this roster could come up with.

Re: Could The 2013 Rumble Match Be The Most Star Studded Ever?

As people of said, the '92 Rumble was loaded with star power, but I think the 1990 (especially) and 2008 Rumbles run it close..

1990:
Hogan
Andre
Warrior
DiBiase
Rhodes
Savage
Piper
Rick Rude
Roberts
Young Bret and Michaels, etc

2008:
Undertaker
Michaels
Batista
Cena
Kane
Triple H
Foley/Piper/Snuka
Punk
Kennedy at the time, etc

Re: Could The 2013 Rumble Match Be The Most Star Studded Ever?

The problem with looking back at older Rumbles is that we forget which wrestlers were prominent, which wrestlers weren't good yet, which wrestlers were irrelevant and so forth. I mean, people have listed Shawn Michaels on the 1992 Rumble roster as having star power but he was just coming off the split with the Rockers but you could make an argument that any of Rhodes/Sandow/Barrett are much bigger names now than Michaels was in '92. Heck, depending on how the future pans out, if people like the 3 I mentioned above become permanent upper-card/main-event players and they also establish other guys like Ziggler and The Shield among others, then are you going to say 10yrs from now that 2012 was one of the most star-studded line-ups in history?

When I personally look back at rosters and line-ups, I don't look at what they've become, I look at what they were at the time being.

Re: Could The 2013 Rumble Match Be The Most Star Studded Ever?

1992 and 2002 beg to differ. I honestly can't see this Rumble being that great. Even if they swerve and Ryback doesn't win as expected- who else is going to? Orton? Sheamus? YAWN!

Layla, Daffney, Beth Phoenix. What more could a guy want?
