why they ever get rid of it? It was usually a good ppv. KOTR always springboarded guys careers.

Wwe can easily replace the shitty no way out or over the limit ppv with king of the ring.

Who wants to see this back as a ppv?

if you're a mathematician and you studied the ppv-buyrates then you can make a judgment. WWE canceled KOTR because the brand didn't sell anymore. End of story.

Having the tournament itself again would be great, but I don't see the need for it as a PPV.

why not? They can still have the semi finals and final match on the ppv and still have title matches

...and all the current PPV's do? KOTR could easily replace half of the current schedule. Personally, I'm a huge mark for the KOTR concept and in fact all pro-wrestling tournaments. One of the top 5 shows each year that I look forward to is Chikara's King of Trios, for anyone who hasn't already checked that out I'd highly recommend that you do and you'll most likely enjoy it.

Yeah, it would be awesome; no idea why it stopped. Its an excuse to legitimize otherwise uninteresting matchups, which in turn encourages midcarders to put together great matches.

Bringing back the PPV wouldn't do much. KOTR was cool (also a really good starwars game), but now we have a bunch of meaningless titles (not so much the WWE title currently) makes it pointless. It literally is just a word(s), "King of The Ring". So what? That means someone won a 1 night contest, they didn't have to back it up anywhere else.

Hence, I think having it as an episode would be better. Plus, making the KOTR get a title shot of his choosing (like the RR, but it can be for any title). So when Santino wins he can go after the Divas title. That'd be funny.

I think they should bring it back on TV this fall, as it would nicely coincide with European tour.

32 participants > many TV matches have a reason to exist > final on Raw.

Winner not only becomes king but challenges for the world championship @ Survivor Series. Antonio Cesaro should win.

I'm a mark for the KOTR. It could replace Over The Limit, No Way Out, Hell In A Cell etc. You can't have too many #1 contenders events.

I think it should be a pay per view but if the buyrates aren't there then you can't really do much.
