Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
Replace either Capitol Punishment or MITB (if you want to keep the latter) Winner is crowned KOTR and get's to face the WWE Champion at Summerslam

Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
With 2013's June pay-per-view being a blank slate and 2013 marking the 20th anniversary of the first tournament held, I'd love to see King of the Ring come back for one more run, as there are plenty of stars who could benefit from the prestige of winning the tournament: King Barrett? King Langston? King Ryback? Buckets of potential if given to the right person. It never felt right holding it on RAW anyway and should have more significance like the Royal Rumble and Money In The Bank. Plus, I always loved the name.

Always drew poorly as people didn't know what matches they were paying for. Taboo Tuesday and Cyber Sunday had the same issue.

The blank slate makes me think they have something possibly planned then and wanna wait to see if it works out so to give it the perfect ppv name.

Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
If I was the booker: have sixteen men in the tournament. Each of the four build weeks of the PayPer-View sees two first round matches. Have the final eight men compete in the rest of the matches on the PPV: four quarterfinal matches, two semifinal matches, and the finals. The World Heavyweight and WWE title can be defended on the card also. Why not have it booked in June like it was before?

Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
ive been sayin for a while fuck yeah bring back KOTR tourny and then have a tournament to see who gets a slot on the ppv on smackdown so people actually give a shit about that show and you can run alot of interesting different matches of random opponents to shake off some of the staleness of WWE TV (besides punk rock) most of the matchups are Eh at best so shake up some guys you not using or are on the back burner to make something interesting

Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
Mr. Money in the bank replaced the King of the ring title.
I'm pretty sure it will return someday though.

Re: Should WWE bring back King Of The Ring PPV?
I don't see the harm in them co-existing. In an age where WWE have brands like Extreme Rules, Hell In A Cell, and TLC, it would be sweet to see something that doesn't seem contrived in its execution. You could even push a face by having them claw their way to the finals, only to lose to a heel.
