Re: Worst WM Main Event of all time
On paper, it looked good. At the actual show, it faced stiff competition from End Of An Era (which any other year, would/should have closed the show) and Jericho/Punk.
The match came off kind of flat to me because Rock's ring rust and it seemed like Cena pretty much phoned it in. The build up somewhat delivered, especially in the final weeks but it only served for hype & nostalgia. Nowhere near Rock/Hogan, any of Rock/Austin and likely won't be as good as Rock/Punk. I can't blame Rock for being rusty and I can't blame Cena for not being a high caliber wrestler but IMO, the match comes of 10 times better to those who were in Miami and the atmosphere. IMO, Brock/Cena had the big fight feel, not Rock/Cena because something just didn't seem right.
