Default Re-book a Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble 2009

World Heavyweight Championship

John Cena (c) vs Randy Orton

I would have had Randy Orton win the #1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Race to the Rumble Match by having Orton eliminate JBL last when Shawn's attempt to help JBL backfires with Orton RKOing JBL to win the match, to set up Orton vs. Cena at the Rumble for the World Heavyweight Championship. Then I would have Orton win the World Heavyweight Championship at the Rumble with the help of Legacy Rhodes & DiBiase to become the new World Champion.

WWE Championship

Jeff Hardy (c) vs Edge vs Vladimir Kozlov vs Big Show (Fatal 4-Way)

For Jeff's first title defense, I would have really stacked the odds against him seeing as how I would have added Kozlov into the match to make it a Triple-Threat but then add Big Show into the match to make it a Fatal 4-Way meaning Jeff doesn't even have to be pinned to lose his title, but I would still have Edge come out with the win here by having Matt cost Jeff the Fatal 4-Way

WWE Women's Championship

Melina (c) vs Beth Phoenix

I wouldn't change anything here about this match-up at all, so I won't even get into that

30-Man Royal Rumble Match

Since Orton won the World Heavyweight Championship, I would have had Triple H win the Rumble for a 2nd time to set up Triple H/Orton at Mania 25 either way but instead for the World Heavyweight Championship

Default Re: Re-book a Royal Rumble

2006, let me fix that piece of shit!

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
MNM -c- Vs. The Mexicools
- Really, I just would want to showcase MNM on PPV during their initial run because they were a red hot act initially. Give them a win in an athletic match on a big PPV.

MASTERLOCK CHALLENGE
Bobby Lashley Vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters
- Basically, I felt like they had a Goldberg in the making with Lashley. But then they had him talk. And then they had him work 10 minute matches. Then they had him lose, and before you know it, that was pretty much dead. I would have kept him unbeaten, never talks, and squashing a lot of guys. and then he becomes the one believable challenge for Chris Master's Masterlock which had been done for months. At the PPV, Lashley is about to break the Masterlock, but Masters breaks it himself to attack Lashley and leave him laying, setting up a showdown between them.

DIVAS MATCH
Mickie James Vs. Ashley Massaro
w/Trish Stratus as Guest Referee
- OK, this match was terrible, but was also necessary to keep the Mickie/Trish storyline going all the way to Wrestlemania, so keep it.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Kurt Angle -c- Vs. Randy Orton
- The Henry/Angle match was a disaster and easily one of the worst PPV main events ever. So, instead of that boring match, how about doing this bout with Orton stealing the title from Angle and setting up his Wrestlemania Title match with Rey Mysterio.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
Edge -c- Vs. Matt Hardy
- Booking this match also includes rebooking the whole Edge/Hardy feud that happened in 2005. Their series of matches...never happened. The months leading up to this point was all build up to Hardy's return, his official resigning with the company (on air), his stalking and attacking Edge at every turn. Finally, with this match already set for the Royal Rumble, Edge does his Money in the bank Cash in on Cena at New Year's Revolution. Bing Bang Boom, Edge's first title defense is against the man he's been running away from for months, Matt Hardy. There's your match. Edge retains.

30 MAN ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH
- Keep ti pretty much the same except for these key changes.

1) Have it close out the show. Having two title matches follow this match was ludicrous.

2) Have John Cena in the Rumble itself as a set up to him possibly getting a title rematch against Edge at Wrestlemania 22. I would do a spot where Edge interferes and deliberately costs Cena the match so he doesn't have to face him. The next three months are then spent with Cena trying to get his title match for Wrestlemania and building up his rematch with Edge.

3) Rey still wins this particular Rumble, but don't do any of the stupid bits where Rey is talking to Eddie Guerrero in heaven. That was just weird and stupid. And instead of last eliminating Randy Orton (who I took out of the match to face Angle for the title), have him last eliminate Triple H.

And with those changes, Wrestlemania 22 would probably look something like this:

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
Edge -c- Vs. John Cena
- Duh. The match that should have been.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Randy Orton -c- Vs. Rey Mysterio
- Without the Eddie is in hell bullshit.

TAKER'S STREAK IS ON THE LINE
The Undertaker Vs. Kurt Angle
- Basically do the No Way Out match here with Taker going over. Much better than Taker Vs. Henry in that Casket Match.

NO HOLDS BARRED
Shawn Michaels Vs. Vince McMahon
- Keep the same.

RAW VS. SMACKDOWN GRUDGE MATCH
Triple H Vs. JBL
- Basically, these two were the top heels of their respective brands and got dethroned at Wrestlemania 21. In their fights to get back into the limelight, they cross paths and challenge each other in this heel vs. heel program.

WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Trish Stratus -c- Vs. Mickie James
- Don't change a damn thing.

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
Rob Van Dam Vs. Matt Hardy Vs. Carlito Vs. King Booker Vs. Shelton Benjamin Vs. Finlay
- Move some participants in and out, but the result is the same. RVD wins to set up One Night Stand title match.

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Chris Benoit -c- Vs. Paul Burchill
- Sue me, I thought Burchill had a lot of potential at one point before they jobbed him out and gave him a pirate gimmick that they ultimately took away from him even though he got it over. I think Benoit would have been a great match to help elevate Burchill. We'll never know, will we?

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP UNIFICATION MATCH
Kane & The Big Show Vs. MNM
- Having two sets of Tag Titles? Stupid, and WWE should have never done it. But with MNM such a hot act at this point, I wondered, why the hell were they not on this Wrestlemania and relegated to Pre Show duties? Well have the Unification match on this show between the two sets of champions with MNM winning. Easy-peasy.

RAW VS. SMACKDOWN GRUDGE MATCH
Bobby Lashley Vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters
- Built up for months. Keep the match short. Lashley breaks the Masterlock and wins over Masters to continue his rise and win his first major feud.

PLAYBOY EVENING GOWN MATCH
Candice Michelle Vs. Torrie Wilson
- Pure filler smut to kill time and give us hot ladies. Keep the same.

Royal Rumble 2006 is a definite Royal Rumble pay per view that needs to be re-booked for sure but 2007 could use re-booking as well except for the Royal Rumble Match

Default Re: Re-book a Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble 2010

WWE Championship

Randy Orton vs Sheamus (c)

I wouldn't change anything about this match-up at all, because this was the perfect match-up for Sheamus really considering he was a heel at the time and he was like the top heel in the WWE as WWE Champion and facing another heel in Orton, it was an interesting contrast in styles and not to mention I wouldn't change anything about the finish either especially with Legacy trying to get involved and it backfiring, Sheamus would still retain

World Heavyweight Championship (Triple-Threat Match)

The Undertaker (c) vs Batista vs Rey Mysterio

I would have made this a Triple-Threat Match with Taker defending his title against both Rey and Batista because if anything he was intertwined with the 2 of them and the 2 of them were feuding with one another but mostly wanted the World Heavyweight Championship, so it makes sense to book this match but Undertaker would still retain here by pinning Batista

ECW Championship

Christian (c) vs CM Punk

I would have had Punk win the ECW Homecoming Battle Royal in order to become the new #1 Contender for Christian's ECW Title and Punk I think he would have made a great opponent for Christian and especially for the ECW Championship with Christian ultimately going over Punk in his title defense

WWE Women's Championship

Michelle McCool (c) w/Layla vs Mickie James

This was actually a good match, so I wouldn't change anything about it here, especially with Mickie going over to become the new WWE Women's Champion

Only thing I would change would be Kane winning the Rumble in 2001.

Definitely 2006.

Rey only won cuz Eddie died.

Undertaker shoulda returned and won the rumble. They could have saved taker/angle for wrestlemania 22 where that match belonged.
